Hi Ladies!
I sure hope this isn't the death of our thread. I promise I will continue to post!
I got my haircut yesterday and did some clothes shopping. Got lots of good deals! Things are so much cheaper down here! I got a couple of dresses and a few tops.
I went dancing last night - Salsa lessons and during open dancing, I did some East Coast Swing and Rumba. I'm really loving these classes and learning a lot.
Today I did 2 chinups so far. I hope to do Pure Barre later.
Gin - The others I work with are very nice. It is similar to the work I was doing in NY but constuction litigation is different than what I'm used to. I'm sure it will all be the same once I get started. It is a much smaller firm (40 attys compared to over 200 in my old office) and I have to do a lot more things myself rather than having service depts. do things for me. Other than that, it's pretty much the same.
Deanie - Thanks for the e-mail from Linda. 5 sets of 12 reps sounds like a lot for me. It sounds more like endurance. I like more of the 2-3 set variety with 8-10 reps. I'm working in the downtown area which is about 30-35 mins. from home (with traffice maybe an extra 10 mins.) which is about 30 mins. shorter than my commute in NY. I think it's great your DS is still thinking about doing baseball in college.
DH didn't find anything yet but he's going to another agency tomorrow. He went there Friday but they needed more forms of ID which he didn't have with him.
Have a great day and I'll talk to you guys tomorrow!
Marcy
