Good Afternoon

I have decided to definately take next week as a rest week. I like the timesaver idea, I have to look over the dvds and see what's what. I don't want anything to strenuous, but I do want to continue to workout.

Gin~ Good luck with a Dallas doctor. Keep us posted. How'd it go with you being the teacher yesterday? Where is your DS you're going to visit? Texas or Florida?

Marcy~ I'm glad you had a good practice today. Do you think doing yoga weekly has helped with your other workouts? The screamer was better yesterday, only screamed/cried for about 45 min, so that's an improvement.;)

Deanie - I don't know if yoga weekly has helped with my other workouts but I do feel pretty strong. I think yoga abs work me better than regular ab workouts and a strong core equals better chins/pulls and better workouts overall. I definitely enjoy yoga more than any other workout (except maybe a dance workout). I think timesavers would be good and maybe a couple of extra Stretch Maxes next week. If you want it, I have a VHS of Yoga Wisdom for Neck Pain & Tight Shoulders still in the shrinkwrap if you think it would help you. It's by Alison Nolan. She had one for back pain and tight hips which was okay and had some good poses. I didn't quite click with her as an instructor but it was okay.

I'm glad the screamer has improved her behavior. How many more months left of school?

Marcy~ Thanks for the yoga offer, but I just don't seem to be into yoga anymore, and I don't know that I'd use the tape. I do agree a strong core is key. I think stretch max is good for next week as an add on. 20 min of light stretching seems to be all my attention span can keep up with. Anymore time and I get bored and my mind starts to wander (which is why I think I can't concentrate on yoga anymore....)

Enrichment (the class with the screamer) is until the end of Dec. Believe me, I am counting the days ;) ... happily, with all the holidays in Oct. (jewish holidays), we are only in school one wednesday next month (october 29th) :) :D :)

Finally Friday

Good Morning gals

Today was PP lower body 2X, 10 pullups (assisted) and the elliptical for 20 min. (I did a preprogram with hills). I really think PP and SS are the most underrated workouts of Cathes. The leg premixes I've done in the last 2 weeks are amazing and I really feel my legs got a great workout!!! I used the PP 2X as a pyramid, doing the first set with the same weight as Cathe, and upping my weights for the second set. The lunges alone put me over the top!!!:eek: Obviously, I had a great workout today!!:p ;)

Marcy~ How many chinups today?:) I think the pullups/chinups from a sitting position are easier. JMO. Still undecided about the pullup tower.... I would like it, not sure if I could afford it. I heard it may be more than $200.00!! Way to much for me when I have the bar already, but I think I would be able to do more on the tower :confused: did you get your new workouts yet?

Good Afternoon Ladies!

I did Amy's Kickbox Xtreme this morning. I almost didn't feel like working out but managed to get my butt in gear. Had a pretty good workout. Her combos are pretty easy to follow.

Deanie - Great workout! I also really like PP and SS. Great for when you don't have a lot of time and super with the premixes for when you do. The double and triple upper body premixes were tough. No chinups today either. Did one pullup last night. I'm going to try and do some tonight. I'll stick with my bar. I guess I'm working harder if my way is harder than sitting, right? Didn't order my new workouts yet but probably will this afternoon. I am waiting for my preorder of Tracey's steady state step and hi/lo (I think she has a medicine ball workout in there as well).

Hi again!

A quick post-

Gin~ You won't believe it, but I changed up the rotation for next month again :eek:! ( I should be nice and say I "tweaked" it!!LOL) I really liked the lower body premixes of PP and SS, so I included them and their upper body premixes for next month! If you are interested let me know, and I will post it. Have a great weekend visit with DS!

Hi Girls!

Just a quick post to say hi. I left school early so we can leave to go to OK to see ds. Dinner tonight with his gf's parents and football game tomorrow. I still need to pack and then get on the road.
I ran this morning and plan to work out in the hotel gym tomorrow and do shoulders and legs.

Deanie~Let me know how you "tweaked" next month's rotation. Is next week Timesaver, rest, or the start of the October rotation?? I can't keep up!!:confused:

Marcy~Yeah to the new workout order. I though you needed some new workout dvds!!;)

Not sure if you all are going to be around this weekend but here goes ;)...

No workout for me today, taking the day off. DS8 had a soccer game this morning, made the winning goal!! and doing errand max and relax max today!! (and maybe tomorrow)

Gin/Marcy ~ Hope you are having a nice weekend :)

Gin ~ I am going to do timesaver this Monday for the week (that's what you're doing ... right?) I am subbing treadmill and elliptical for two of the days though, so I don't do step three days in a row. And I am doing the cardio first!!Surprise!!

Here is the revised (and I'm pretty sure the final ;)) October rotation:
(in week one I am off on day three for Yom Kippur, but other wise, I would take day 7 off)
October 08 rotation
(Can add 2 more weeks, for a 6 week rotation)
Use PP and SS splits as a pyramid system – 1st set medium weights, 2nd set heavier weights, 3rd set heaviest

Week 1
Day 1: CTX upper body
Day 2: The Gauntlet cardio only / LL abs
Day 3: OFF
Day 4: Leaner Legs
Day 5: 45 min treadmill/ LL abs
Day 6: ME (no abs)
Day 7: DM cardio only / ME abs

Week 2
Day 1: PP upper body X3 / PH abs
Day 2: treadmill
Day 3: PP lower body X3/ PH abs
Day 4: 4DS bootcamp/kickbox
Day 5: PH
Day 6: CF – step only
Day 7: off

Week 3
Day 1: PUB (no abs)
Day 2: DM cardio only and abs
Day 3: PLB
Day 4: elliptical and abs
Day 5: PUB/PLB combo premix
Day 6: HCE#3 and abs
Day 7: off

Week 4
Day 1: SS upper body 2 sets/ MM abs
Day 2: treadmill
Day 3: SS lower body blast (33 min.)/ MM abs
Day 4: 4DS HIS/LIS
Day 5: MM
Day 6: 4DS kickbox/bootcamp

I will be starting on Monday October 6th
