Marcy~ Thanks for the email:) I am glad my brother wants to try kb, that way I don't have to lay out the money, and since he is a "student" he will do all the research and let me know about his findings. I absolutely want to try them if he buys them. The only question I have is if it is truely a total body workout, not just lower body. (I would prefer the total body)

I think Marcy's assessment of Cathe's answer is on the money. Maybe you can do the endurance leg workouts during Jan. and Feb. since the marathon is at the end of Feb.
 
Deanie - From whatever I've read, kettlebells is a total body workout. It does have positive effects for the legs but it works the whole body and also has a cardio effect.

Good Morning Girls!

Today I did LIS step only...fun, short and sweet!
We are leaving in a minute to go to ds's college parent's weekend.
I ran out of candy at 8pm last night. I think I give out too big of handfuls and then run out too quickly. Oh well, lights were out at 8pm!
My mother is completely lucid as of yesterday and my dad was moving her to a rehab hospital. Good news!! I will probably go down there next weekend.
Not sure what to do with the half training and STS now. If we get STS next month, will you girls plan on starting Jan 1?

Good Morning

Today is HIIT on the tm and abs. I was going to do it after DS8s soccer game this morning, but now there is a team party after the game.:eek: so I am hoping to do it sometime today:confused:

Gin~ Good news about your mom:) I'm glad.!! I really am on the fence right now about STS. I definately don't want to cancel, but I think what's best for my body now is endurance- like what we've been doing. If you and Marcy don't want to start till March though, I could start kettlebells earlier I guess. Really I'm not as excited about STS anymore so I don't care when I start.... The only reason I haen't cancelled is because I'm sure when I read about everyone loving it on the boards, I will feel like I've missed out:p :p Enjoy your college weekend!;) Are you starting the Nov. rotation with me on Monday?

Marcy~ thanks for all the kb info. I definatly see them in my future!!! What are you doing for a rotation this month?

Just popping in to tell you I got a Kettle bell today!!:)
Still not sure about them, but I am going to give it a try. I have 90 days before I can't return it, so I thought I'd try it.....
