Good Morning Y'All!!

PC&CA today although it was not my best workout by far. I stopped short on just about every exercise aside from the warm-up, stretch & cool down  Don't know what what was up with that  Anyway, I'm still sweaty so that's ok.

Kariev - Keep checking in with us whenever you can, it is always wise to listen to your body and you are a smart cookie for knowing what to do :)

Sandra - I keep wondering how my improvements from Insanity (other than today:eek:) will be in my other workouts. I'm used to longer workouts, but sometimes get overworked by KPC, Imax2&3 & BM2 to where I do not feel energized afterward, but just wiped out. I'm hoping my cardio capacity will make those workouts a breeze (wishful thinking?:D)

Have a super Friday everyone!!!!!

Good Morning!

Today I did CPR which I like because it is not as hard as the others. My glutes are a little sore this morning. I originally thought I would hate the format of the workouts where the warm-up was intense and then you stretched, but I am starting to like the break to stretch.

Jennifer, don't worry about stopping - maybe it was just an off day for you.
Kariev, we will miss you but I understand about your injury.
Dawn, ASC is Advanced Step Challenge. Amy Bento has 3 workouts in this series. It is a steady state step workout.
Sandra, I have looked at that August rotation a few times but I have never dared to try it. I find it hard to spend 90 minutes working out but I have been able to do it in the past.

Hi All,
Took yesturday (Thursday) off...I was so tired..and today is Friday and it's about 5pm and I'm not sure I'm gonna get to it today either....work is super busy and I'm so tired at the moment I don't think I could give it my all even if I tried...I may just pick it up tomorrow Saturday....have a good weekend

Wow! What happened to our group today? Is it a rest day for many of us? Did I miss the memo? :p

This morning I did STS Disc 18 - back, then Cardio Recovery. I do like that workout. My hips, glutes and hamstrings like the therapy.

Tomorrow I'll be teaching cycle in the morning, so that will be all I do. I'll pick up the next day of the Insanity rotation on Sunday. I *think* it's CPR, but I'm not positive. I'll be doing STS Disc 19 Chest as well that day.

Jennifer - It's on days like this that you deserve to give yourself an extra pat on the back, for a job VERY well done! You weren't feeling 100%, but you did it anyway, and consistency is what gets you results! You pushed through! We all have off days occasionally. It's nothing to worry about, unless it continues. Then, obviously, overtraining or undereating could be the problem. Keep pushing play!!

Colleen - Yes, the length of the workouts in the August rotation is what kept me away from it, too. It's hard to find that much time each day that I can block off, uninterrupted. I can usually find up to an hour in the mornings, but even that may change in September :(. I have a harder time being consistent if I leave my workout until later in the day.

Elena - I applaud anyone who can work a full, busy day then come home and add in a workout. It's terrifically hard to motivate yourself when you're drained, mentally and physically, and the workout ahead of you is called "Insanity." I hope you find the energy to do some kind of workout, even if it's not an Insane one. Keep making that time for yourself; the stress relief is essential to your well-being.

Well, I'm yawning and it's bedtime. See Ya'll tomorrow!!
Sandra
