Legs and Glutes?

What is Cathe using for balance in this workout? What do you use? Would the Firm's sculpting stick work?
 
Wow! shoulder height? That's pretty long, especially when you're on the high step. What do you all use?
 
i just use a stripped barbell. sometimes a swiffer handle when i don't feel like lugging the barbell out. i have gotten pretty good with balance so its more of a reminder for me.

I put the high step topper against the bottom of the entertainment center and put my hands lightly on the top of the TV. This is a quicker transition for me and I fit perfectly in this set-up. One of the rare times when I'm happy to be short.

I'll use the weighted barbell sometimes, but it makes a mark on my mats so I don't do it often.

I have a 4' dowell, I've used a 12lb body bar, and the sculpting stick. Whichever is in front! But mainly the dowell, because I don't have to work at all to pick that one up! :7
 
I too use the sculpting stick. Much less work than unloading the barbell.

YOu can pick up a dowel at any hardware store ; add some rubber furniture " feet " to the ends , and have yourself a cute little balance device (I made one when I used the Firm and it only costs about $3 total)

I use the firm sculpting stick and it works just fine for me.:)
