Legs and Glutes or Lotte Berk method?

For those of you who have both workouts, which one do you consider is most effective at shaping and firming buns and thighs? I used to do the LB stuff (and Winsor buns and thighs), but I simply find Legs and Glutes to be more interesting and challenging. Any views on this would be appreciated.

TIA
Josie :)

p.s. I am a classic pear shape!

I just found this whole boxed set at Costco online. I am curious now too! Also, how do you find out what shape you are? I keep seeing the Ecto thread, and have an idea from the links what that is, but I am confused.....Help?!

Hi Dani,

As I understand it (and there are probably others who can explain this better) having a pear shape is when your hips and lower body accumulate more fat than your upper body - a lot of pears tend to have slim upper bodies and waists and tend to deposit the fat around the lower areas rather than around the stomach. I've always been told by others that I'm a pear so that is how I know! My lower body is a whole dress size larger than my upper body, which means I tend to find it difficult to find clothes that fit properly.

Other than that, I have no idea about other body shapes! There are probably some sites online that could help you out there.

I've tried some of the LB workouts and I do feel them - but I'm just wondering if Cathe's lower body workouts produce better results.

There are three body types. You may be only one or a mixture of two. Briefly they are:

Ectomorph - small boned, thin, have difficulty gaining either fat or muscle, high metabolism

Mesomorph - naturally athletic and gains muscle easily

Endomorph - large boned, gains fat easily, slow metabolism
