Legs and Glutes is a 53 minute comprehensive lower body workout that incorporates traditional and non-traditional exercises as well as standing and floor exercises to strengthen and shape the leg and glute area. You will experience new and refreshing exercises all performed in unique ways (ie: heavy weight, no weight, with equipment, without equipment, fast reps, slow reps, bonus reps, rhythmic reps etc.). Be ready to get set and go as there is very little rest time between the exercises. This is definitely one to watch ahead of time and know what you'll need to do have and handy.

The sound track is a lot of fun too. It features many classic songs. Here is the list:

Standing Leg Work:
Leg Press on High Step (2 sets)
Hover Squats
Rear Lunges with heel elevated (rt side)
Plie Squats (varied tempo hold)
Rear Lunges with heel elevated (left set)
Plie Squats (varied tempo pulse)
Drop Squats on High Step
Explosive Plie Squats (with curtsey lunge insert)
Calf Raises
One Legged Deadlifts
Plie Squats (traditional)
Sculpting Drills slow motion on High Step
Explosive Lunges (no weights or equipment)
Outer Thigh Leg Press on high step with ankle weights (2 sets)
Calf Raises
Standing Leg Extensions with ankle weights
Standing Outer Thigh Lifts with ankle weights

Floorwork:
Glute and Hamstring Tucks on high step with ankle weights
Glute and Hamstring Raises with ankle weights
Outer Thigh and Glute Sweeps with ankle weights
Inner Thigh Lifts with ankle weights
 
i'm going to need to know the exact day that my dvd's will arrive...so i can call in sick and preview all day!! thank you for all your hard work and communicating the progress and plans for this series. i honestly could not be more excited!!! i am afraid, very afraid of this one!!
 
Cathe - All I can say is WOW!!

My knee will probably scream even more than it already does, but I'm ready!!

All the previews of the upcoming series look awesome! I pre-ordered the videos and I'm losing sleep thinking about receiving them. Believe me, I'll post the moment I do!!

This sounds like an amazing workout! Just what I would have asked for! I love the many different variations for the exercises! I'm really going to have a BLAST!!!

WOW

I was the one who practically begged for this workout and I'm so unbelievably excited! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This workout will no doubt help get my pre-pregnancy body back. I'm hitting the homestretch (34 weeks) and I can't wait to use the Body Blast series to get back in shape.

Can't wait, can't wait, CANNOT WAIT!!!!

I voted for everything in this new Total Blast Series. The leg work, push pull weight work, stability ball, circuit work,kickbox, another Rythmic Step and another CTX type workout that will be on the DVD. But when I read about the descriptions of this new series and see the pictures, I can tell that these workouts are going to be far more wonderful than I could have imagined.

Yeah, wow is right! I think I may be sore just reading about this one! Ouch, but I'm very excited to get it and and feel the burn. Is that a good thing to wish that kind of pain on oneself? Ha, ha! Thank you Cathe for everything that you do, you rock!
 
That is so smart and clever, separating the lunges! Now my second leg won't get shortchanged because my heart rate's too high from the first leg! (actually I rest between legs, but now I may not have to)

I love explosive lunges- also known as power scissors, right? This sounds like (almost) fun!! Looking forward to it, and the music seems like it'll be great!
