Leg workouts without bulkiness??

I need some sound advice. I've been doing B&G for months now and was doing it with GS legs in the same week too. I feel like my legs are a little too bulky for my liking especially with shorts weather now.

Can I lean out and not lose too much leg strength by doing yoga or pilates in place of lower body workouts? I guess I can lower the weights on B&G too...I think it will be difficult though because I'm so addicted to pushing myself higher. Any suggestions? I'd rather my legs look more slim and muscular.

Leaner Legs does it for me as well as alot of walking (including walking lunges)

Karen Voights Total Body Pilates w/ ring (all lower body except for push-ups)

Firm #1 (an oldie but goodie)

I do not do alot of tall box work as it tends to "bulk me" but will include it every couple of weeks for a change

Kickboxing (I use Taebo, TurboJam and Cathe)

Spinning (Coach Troy)

Just a few suggestions that work for me

Running has done wonders for leaning my legs outs. They still have a ways to go, but are slowly getting there!

Hi-

I think running and kickboxing are good leg leaners..

Also, maybe cut your leg workout to one day a week, those are 2 intense leg workouts to do in one week. Try keeping your weight levels the same and I don't think you would lose any strength.
Take care, Lynn

I slimmed down my thighs with a freestyle type rotation. I worked my legs 4-6 days per week with light or no weight. It worked like a charm! Now that my thighs are slimmer I do not work them as frequently (only 2 times per week now) and I have slowly started to increase the weight at times...so far so good. If I find my thighs starting to bulk again I am going to back right off though. My legs are obviously not as strong as they could be but they are lean/muscular looking. It's a trade off worth taking IMO. :)
