Leg Swelling

I just noticed that there is alot more swelling in my left leg, my sock left a HUGE dent in my left leg and none on my right leg. I also have been having more knee trouble in my left knee. Don't know if those two are related. Has anyone seen this before?

My Leg is only swollen from my knee on down and is HUGE no swelling anywhere else on me. I put my leg up but it is not coming down at all.

You might want to do some research on the web on lymphedema so you can ask better questions of your doctor.

I don't want to worry you but a man I work with just got out of the hospital because he had a blood clot in his leg. He's about 50 and has always been an avid exerciser. The symptom that brought him to the doctor was his leg swelling from the knee down really big.

If it is a clot, it can move to your heart or brain without warning. Please go to the doctor.

Edited to say "So much for not wanting to worry you, huh?" But really, see a doctor.
