Hi Cathe, I am really looking forward to receiving the Leg and Glute dvd. According to the details provided, a stability ball is not used. It is listed on the description so I was wondering why.
Hi Susan C.M.! I chose not to put the stability ball in because as I was creating the workout, I realized when it came to floorwork, I felt the most effective stability ball exercises (that challenge the inner thigh, outer thigh, hamstrings, and glutes) were the exercises that I had already used in the Intensity series and I did not want to repeat those (since I was already repeating a couple of other stability ball exercises).
Also, while stability ball exercises can also be used for some standing leg exercises, they did not fully meet the format or flow of this tape and I instead went in the direction of 2 pound ankle weights to create some of the different ways to challenge the leg muscles
Hi Cathe!! These workouts sound excellent!! I was wondering what other exercises you would have used on the stability ball since I also thought the exercises from PLB were the most effective. I can hardly wait to see the exercises in this new workout (and try them). Legs and Gluts sounds great!!
Yipeee! I LOVE ankle weight work. I can't wait for this tape most of all. Need to shock these legs & glutes of mine.
