I am ending my 2nd week on the Jan. rotation, last night I had to do Muscle Max and for the first time ever my left arm was like limp I could not lift anything with this arm. Even holding the phone with my left arm was difficult it feels weak and shakey. Does anyone know what this could be? Should I be concerned? please Help!! Lori

Both, I feel no strength in the left arm it is shakey and weak. This has never happened before Lori

I cld. my Dr. was told I needed to be seen and to call for a appt. Monday. Lets hope nothing happens before then. Still could use anyones opinions or suggestions please. Lori

Lori, sorry I don't have any suggestions but wanted to let you know that I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers that everything is okay. Keep us posted and take it easy til Monday. If it gets worse, I would def go to ER! Thinking of you!

Thanks Debbie for your kind words, I will keep you updated and if it does get any worse I will go to the ER. Thanks again, Lori

I would think a pinched nerve of some sort would be more likely than a stroke (which wouldn't just effect your arm, IMO.)

I would say, go to the ER if it doesn't get BETTER, rather than seeing if it gets worse.

Wendy, you place way more confidence in me than I deserve, but thank you--you're too kind.

I agree with Kathryn. The first thought that crossed my mind when I read your post was that you may have pinched a nerve. To avoid further injury I would hold off on exercise until you've been cleared by your doctor unless, of course, your weakness and/or pain has resolved on it's own. These things aren't something you want to mess around with so I'd get checked out as soon as possible ;).

I will keep you in my thoughts. I know it is scary. :)

well my arm is still numb but today I noticed when I felt my bicep it felt like it was bruised so maybe it is a pinched nerve or pulled muscle. I'm going to the Dr. tomorrow. Thanks for everyones support it helped. Lori

Or a torn bicep tendon? Don't know what that feels like, but I would think it could cause a bruise and numbness.

Please let us know how this turns out.
