Last 10 lbs!!

Hi Cathe I gave birth to twins a year ago. I'm still trying to lose 10 lbs. mainly in my stomach and hips. I work out 5 days a week but I don't just want to be slim I want to be toned as well, but I'm afraid of becoming to bulky when it comes to weights. Can you give me advice on how to work out and how often. Also you said you cut back on carbs 85% were they whole grain carbs and how often did you have them.

Try doing 4 days of 30 to 45 minutes of cardio activity per week.

Also do two non-consecutive days of total body workouts per week.

Take one day off of working out to rest your muscles.

Drink plenty of water daily.

Sleep 8 hours a day if possible.

Eat lean quality protein sources to help repair and restore muscle tissue breakdown.

Eat plenty of dark leafy green veggies in addition to other varieties.

Try to keep your food choice to foods in their most natural state.

Cut back on starch products. Cut out processed foods if you can.

This starting point should make a big difference.
