My mom is looking at retirement communities in the Las Vegas area. She hopes to move in the fall. She received the Chamber of Commerce packet, but I was wondering if anyone on this board lives there and can offer some insights into living there? I have been there at least a dozen times on business for stays from 3 days to two weeks, so both Mom and I have done the Strip. I need to know about community activites, governmental issues (utilities, DMV, etc.) and anything else that a potential resident would want to know. Thanks in advance!!!
