hey lady,
i was just thinking about you wondering where you had gone. i just a post from you. i am happy to see you are back!!
how have you been doing? how is your new baby girl?

You are so sweet to remember me! I've been doing really well. My only wish is that I had more time to fit in a full workout. In the meantime I'm trying to eat well and do what little bit of exercise I can. I'm sure once Annamarie starts sleeping through the night then I'll be able to get right back on track with my regular exercise routine.

Annamarie is doing well too. When I took her to her 4 month appointment on the 9th she weighed in at 16 lbs 8.5 oz and measured 25 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for weight. Needless to say she is a chubby cherub. I love her cute fat rolls.

How about you? How is your new baby boy? Is he rolling over yet? How is big brother handling the new addition?

BTW, great job on the weight loss!!

of cours i remember my girl!:)

i am so sure it must be hard to fit everything in. working ft and taking care of a household, husband and two children, whew.....
it's especially harder when you can't get a full nights rest}(

glad to hear yuour ds is doing great!
jaden is doing wonderful. he is also a chubby cherub. he weighed 15lbs and 15oz and measured 26 1/2 in. long at his 4 month appt. i think they are growing them bigger nowadays, lol

i am doing good. we are trying to decide if i will have to return to work. big brither is in absolute love. sometimes it gets to him that he doesn't get all the attention anymore but he is handling it like a trooper. we are very proud of him.

how is your ds with his baby sister?

the weight is coming off slowly but i am glad its budging:)

Some days it is harder to fit in everything than others, but I'm a creature of habit and stick to a nightly routine to get the most important stuff done, such as washing & making bottles for the next day. I'll have more energy to do my late night workouts when DD starts sleeping through the night. Let's hope it won't be much longer.

When we first brought DD home from the hospital, DS wanted his grandparents to take DD home with them because he thought she did not belong at our house. Now when asked by his grandparents if she can stay there with them, he insists that DD needs to go home with us. He is a very good big brother and tries to help me. He even tells me when DD is crying that she needs a bottle. Also, DS is always showing his prized toys to DD and telling her what they are and trying to "read" to her. DH & I try very hard to have one-on-one time with him and tell him what a good job he is doing being a big brother. The week before I came back to work I started DD at daycare to get adjusted to the schedule. One day I picked only DS up early to have some special time together just the two of us. He was so excited he said, "Thank you Mommy for picking me up early. I love you.". It was worth it just for that special moment.

What a terrific big brother! It is amazing how quickly they adjust to a new addition. It sounds like you & DH made the transition as easy as possible for him.

Do you want to return to work?

Hi Kristi,

I do and i don't want to return to work. does that make sense? i do because we could definetely use the money. i don't because i am not ready to leave ds. i guess because this is my last baby, i am enjoying it even more. ahhhhh

sounds like both of us have great big brothers! your ds sounds so loving.

That makes perfect sense! It is really hard when you are torn between the two. DD is my last baby too and I have felt the same way. I try to treasure the little bit of time I have with them every night and on the weekends. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly they grow. This weekend I took both of them to get pictures taken and I keep thinking why can't they stay this young and innocent forever.
