Knee Pain on Low Max - what am I doing wrong?

I love this work out, but I'm considering giving it away because every time I do it, my knees ache for days. They don't hurt with IMAX2 or IMAX3 or any of the HCE mixes, even the one with LowMax mixed in id okay. I'm really confused on this. Obviously I'm doing something wrong - this is the one that's supposed to be EASIER on the joints...

I learned a trick this weekend that worked like magic to heal my aching knees. I can't describe it very well in a post, but I'll try:

A lady who calls herself a "body healer" was working on my body this past week (my first appointment with her), and when I told her that my knees hurt, she had me sit down on her table, and she said that if I paid attention to what she was about to do, I could do it myself. She took the knuckles of her hands (but fingertips, the heel of the hand, and even the forearms will work, depending on which you are comfortable with, and which method is most effective for you) and proceeding to press with near excruciating discomfort into the muscles just above the knee and then push her way to the outside of my leg (still pressing with her knuckles into my muscles). She then did the same thing to the muscles just below my knee, and then again just a little lower. She did it twice, and by the time she was finished, my knee pain was GONE! WOW!!! I was elated! I can do GS Legs again now (my knees have ached so badly that I haven't done GS Legs for 3 weeks).

She explained it like this: There are tendons (or is it ligaments? I forget) that criss-cross over the knee and are attached to the muscles below the knee and above it. When the leg muscles get tight, they contract, and this pulls on those ligaments (putting pressure on them). Consequently, these ligaments tighten over the knee and cause an "ache" in the knee.
