KK's September Check-In

Author

Good Evening!:D

Thought I'd start the September check in.

Hope everyone had a super holiday weekend!

Today was IMAX1 for me and tonight was the cardio only -- not the blasts -- from IMAX2. A not-so-stressful workout. Weight still hanging in there at the high end of what I can easily tolerate. Trouble is there's no room to gain -- and it's just too easy to gain. Oh, well...

Janie, it sounds like you and your daughter had a great time together. I so love those moments.:)

I posted the workout plan on August's check in so I won't post it here -- but sure hope you are all getting ready to go back to work after a nice time off. Have a super day!:D

Good morning,
We had a nice, quiet time camping this weekend. May be the last event for the year as we'll be busy woodcutting when the woods opens for that. Getting nippier at night too. Got home yesterday morning, unpacked, showered, then played golf in the late afternoon with a nice couple. Very relaxing!

This morning was Lowmax premix intervals 4-7, then tacked on standing abs from Ab Jam. Finished off with some stretching that is feeling good on my back and hips.

Janie, how's the floor coming? That Joey is a peach for building it. Know it will make a difference on the impact. I feel the impact more now myself. Have a new pair of shoes coming today which will help.

Karen, your workout week looks good. I enjoyed my Max workout this morning too. Do you have Lowmax? Not sure I've heard you mention it before. That one really makes me sweat. Hope the storms are gone for you soon.

Hi to everyone else,

Good morning!

This is a very fast post....I will be gone again for the rest of the week. I don't even know if I'll be able to get a workout done today. I hope so since I'm stiff from sitting in the car and driving.

I have an interview tomorrow in the bay area....so fingers crossed. I sure hope it goes well. If I don't get the job, then oh well, but it seems awfully coincidental and the timing is right.

I have twenty million things to do today to get ready to leave bright and early tomorrow morning. If I get a chance this evening, I'll pop in....have a great day everyone!

Good Mornin,

KK, hope you lose the weight that you want soon. I know how frustrating it can be.

Jeanette, so glad your camping this weekend was good. There's nothing like relaxing just before a busy week. Most of the time this year temperatures have been in the 60's, rainy and its Summer!:( My garden has felt it too. Not as much stuff this year, nothing to freeze except berries. We are going to town today to pick up the prego flooring. YEAH! I would suspect to be putting flooring down within the next few days.:D Your workout looks great, and those stretches are a must. Good for you.

Rhea, Sorry you have to drive so far all the time. Good luck on the interview in the Bay area. My fingers are crossed in hopes you get it. Hope you pop in tonight.

Hi Tammy and Mandy,

Hi Everybody!

Just a quick check-in. Survived the visit from the kids (had a great time really). Only got to work out Sunday (Step Blast) and yesterday did the upper body mix from Cross-train express. I rode this morning and am hoping to get GS Legs in this evening.

My deck progresses. They actually this afternoon are starting to actually put the decking boards down. We are using a product called AZEK. It's supposed to be a really nice composite material that doesn't stain. Had the railing people here this morning so have been busy. It's a new product so they were out looking at our deck as this is the first project our building supply place is using it. That worked out well as our construction contractor could talk to the salesmen and get questions answered. I'm hoping it will go up quickly and easily.

We are loving the hot tub....... I'm spoiled already.

KK, I love the IMAX's they are such fun...especially IMAX2. It is my favorite of the 3. I'm with you about weight gain. I was due to get on the scale yesterday and didn't....I was too afraid after missing so many workouts recently and not being really good about eating (My daughter got me started on cheeseballs of all things!!! while she was here.) Hopefully, it will come off soon for you.

Hi Jeanette! Glad you had a good time camping. LowMax is a goodie too.

Rhea, good luck with your job interview. Hope it goes well!

Hi to Mandy and Janie,

Tammy

Good Evening!

Must admit that I love reading about how your weekends went and how you all are doing. Today was Power Hour for me and tonight CTX Interval Max, but only 2 of the intervals.

Well, I did manage to lose 1/2 lb. over the weekend. It's not much and it may go right back on -- -- but it was great to see it this morning. Janie, I love that graphic. This would be me.

Jeanette, your weekend sounds wonderful and relaxing. Bet your getting good at golf. I keep forgetting about LowMax -- I have it with me -- I'm going to have to do it again. The first time I did it I found it so hard that I've never returned to do it again, but I should really pull it out again. Thanks for reminding me of it.

Janie, that flooring sounds lovely. Went out and bought a non-slip pad for the rug that I have. I have a tile floor and a simple rug over it which kept slipping whenever I'd exercise. Now it doesn't. Gee, that graphic is cute!

Rhea, hope that interview goes well. You have all our well-wishes.

Tammy, yes, the IMAX's are my favorite -- with ME thrown in there, as well. X-train Express -- is that an older FIRM? I bet that hot tub is going to get alot of use. It sounds wonderful. I'm almost embarrassed to say that my husband and I -- we have a hot tub -- but we have never used it. We were renting our property at first and then we bought it and so it came with the house. We once used it as a sort of swimming pool (it's an outside one) when it was hot. We have plans to make that space it's in into an exercise room eventually -- like we really have time to do this...

But it's a nice plan. I bet you'll really like it, though.:p

Hi Mandy!

Well, hope you all have a wonderful day! I'm getting the copy edits for the book back and I'm afraid of them. Without revisions, I bet they are going to be tough. We'll see, I guess.

Have a super day

Good morning,
Today was 4DS HIS step and then the Chest and Back (most of). I finished off with some stretching. Tonite is a golf lesson.

Karen, I'm not getting good at golf. Think it takes years to do that, and consistently playing. Be interesting to see if you still think Lowmax is tough. I think it has that "just right" toughness to it. Glad the 1/2# came off.

Tammy, I'll have to Google AZEK. We've looked at Trex, but this project will be for next year so I have time to research other options. When you ride, are you schooling your horse or pleasure riding? I usually did more schooling than pleasure as that was what was fun for me.

Janie, how is the flooring going? What color Pergo did you pick? Hope you are recovering and healing up good from the surgery. Is it looking more hopeful?

Rhea, good luck on the interview!!! What town is it in?

Great workouts, everyone!

Jeanette, The Pergo floor color is "Tide Water Oak". It looks kind of distressed, but in a great way. If something was to scratch it or indent it, you'd not notice it. But, it takes a lot of give and don't expect these things to happen very often. Enjoy your golf lesson tonight. Your workouts are tough aren't they?

KK, Yeah 1/2 pound lost! I kinda did the graphics for you this time. I know your frustration, but it will get better. I know you know this.

I have another appt. with my PS this Tues. Hopefully he will clear me to stretch and light yoga. I'm hoping so anyway.

My left breast has less scab on it now. Still a lot, but much less than before. I'm still spotting, but that also is not that much anymore. Just a tiny bit now. I'm even feeling more energetic and so want to move around and stretch. Can't wait for that day.

My husband is moving furniture around to start on the flooring as I type. Oh, how wonderful this is going to be!:D

My precious dog Molly has to go in and have some teeth pulled on the 12th of this month. I noticed two lower teeth in the front are moving and she has very bad breath. She is over ten years old and nearing 11. She is part Chauhuau (mispelled) and Yorky.

Rhea, Again, good luck on the interview.

Tammy, How is your deck progessing? I bet it will look great once it is done. We have a hot tub too. It is outside and looks like a huge barrel. It is so wonderful under the stars and great during the day watching birds and animals go by. Right now I can't use it but in Oct. I can again. Sounds like you are doing great with your workouts even though you are so busy. Take care.

Hi Mandy, what cha up to?

Good Afternoon!

Am posting just a little early today cause I'm at the library and their computers are so much faster than mine in the evening.

Today was the cardio only -- 1st part only of Body Max and then stretch #1 from Cathe. A good workout.

Jeanette, I bet you are getting better at golf, though. At least it's beautiful and relaxing and with good company, a fun time. I'm going to have to give LowMax another try. You're right. I've come a bit of a way now, and so I should give it another try.

Janie, it sounds like you are well on your way to healing. Let us know how the appointment goes. I'm sure we all have our fingers crossed. Thanks for that graphic. I couldn't bring myself to get onto the scale this morning -- so afraid I'd gained back that 1/2 pound. I'll weigh myself tomorrow...

Hi to Rhea, who I know is on the road.

And a big Hi to Tammy and Mandy, as well.

I'm off to hopefully get into course a little early today. I have my fingers crossed. :)

Have a super day, everyone!:D

Good morning,
Today was 4DS Kickbox, then Shoulders and Core from 4DS LIS, followed up with a bit of stretching. My golf lesson last night was wonderful. Really like my instructor. Tonite is picking up sand for our project.

Janie, love the Meez! You did that for me, didn't you? I'll have to go check out the Pergo color you bought. When will it be installed? Will Joey do it himself? Hope the PS clears you for at least a little stretching.

Karen, hope that 1/2# is history. I've learned not to fret about it. I'm healthy and strong and thankful for that. Life's too short for me to keep worrying about it. Actually, I'm askeered to get on the scale :p:p.

Hi to Tammy, Mandy and Rhea.

KK, Looks good on your workouts.;) How much longer are your classes? :)

Jeanette, Yes, the meez is for you. Couldn't resist it.:D Love the 4DS Series. Glad you had a wonderful time with golf last night.

My hubby has got the plywood in place and putting down the middle rubber part. This is so cool?

I help him when he needs me either to hold something down or to gofor it. But, I'm writing my book, reading and rereading it. When Joey is done with the floor he has a lot of editing to do. Poor Guy.

I'll be making soap everyday for awhile, at least two batches per day.

Thinking of Rhea, Mandy and Tammy.

Good Afternoon!

Hi! I love this Meez as well. Jeanette, is this similar to the flooring that you're putting down? Love it.

It was Circuit Max for me today -- boy, I've forgotten how intense that workout it. Last night was 25 minutes of 10-10-10. Unfortunately for me that 1/2 # came right back on.:( But it's so easy to gain 1/2 pound that I guess I'll just sigh and keep on with it.

Jeanette, that's great on your workouts. Just did the 4DS series last week. Golf sounds wonderful.

Janie, what did your doctor say? Any chance of stretching yet? If not, don't fret, it will come. I'm still having trouble with my hand -- it's still very swollen and sore -- but I figure it will just continuously get better. That flooring will be great. Have a great time with editing -- not my favorite activity.

Hi to Rhea and Tammy and Mandy.

Have a super day, everyone!:)

Hi KK,

Can't believe you are on line so early.

I'm taking a short break.

The meez is about me making soap in my kitchen. She's wearing an apron, gloves and goggles. Our flooring is in the family room (can't find a flooring in the meez world that looks like it). Joey is such a hard worker. He still working on it as I write this.

Gota make soap, see you around,

It's been a few hours since I've posted. I'm editing this post and Just wanted to say I've made a couple of batches of soap today. YEAH! I'm testing out my recipes.

OOPS! My mistake on the flooring posts. Don't know what I was thinking.

Morning,
Today was 3 combos from Christi Taylor's Solid Gold Step, then switched to 4DS Triceps and Biceps. Last night I got a 20 mile bike ride in. Tonite is working on the pavers for the patio. All weekend we will be doing that so probably no other workouts as I'm sure my knees and back will be aching. I'll check back in on Monday morning, hopefully with a "completed" report.

Karen, think "flat cobblestones in a pattern" for the patio. Nothing like Janie's nice bouncy floor! Would not be fun to work out on our patio. Hope that hand improves. Darn on that 1/2#.

Janie, what did the doctor say? Glad you are making the soap. Is it scented? Maybe we can see pictures of the floor when it's done?

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Will be making more soap today. And cutting it into bars.

I won't see my PS until this Tuesday. Hope I have good news.

I'm so frustrated about writing. My ideas are there, just don't know how to put them into words. I think I'll include my husband on being a co-author on this book. He's practically rewriting everything, just in a better way than I ever could.

Enjoy your workouts everyone and have great weekends.

Janie

Good Afternoon!

Hi! Am trying to post early since I know that Rhea and Jeanette rarely check in over the weekend. So trying to catch them if I can.

Janie, I'm sure your writing is wonderful. When I read others' writings I almost always weep to think that their writing is so much better than mine, but we all have our own voices -- and that's the wonderful thing about writing, is putting your voice down on paper and telling your own story. Editing is great, but I bettcha that your writing is just wonderful.:)

You are one busy gal. Jeanette asked and I'm wondering, too, if your soaps have scent? I bet they are wonderful soaps. I often think that the soaps that are commerical are probably not that good for you. I try to buy Dr. Bonners soaps -- do you know of them?

And I love that flooring. Again another wonderful graphic.

Jeanette, have a super weekend -- sounds like you, too, will be very busy. You reminded me that I need to order that Christi workout. I get so busy and into other things that I forget.

Am having trouble with a credit card company that is literally socking it to me for something that isn't my error. Eventually I'll get it fixed, but it's a pain in the butt right now.

It was 4DS cardio only from Bootcamp for me today and last night I was so tired there was no evening workout.

Hi to Rhea and Tammy and Mandy! Hope you are all doing well.

Have a super day and a terrific weekend!:)

KK,

All my soaps have their own delicate scent (which dissipates after rinsing), color, hardness and sudsing power. They are made from natural ingredients.

You give me hope.

Hi to Rhea, Jeanette, Mandy and Tammy, have great weekends.

Hello!

I'm back from the Bay Area. Interview was in Fairfield CA. I'm not going to say anything else, 'cause I don't want to jinx it.

I only got in one workout while I was gone, but it was my favorite, the new Dance Fit. I brought down my step and the three pound hand weights (along with some other videos just in case I changed my mind about which workout) I sure hope the guy living the floor below was at work when I worked out. I probably sounded like an elephant! I was really tired yesterday, so I just laid there and stared at the television. Took a couple of naps too....whew.

Nothing much else going on..have tons of laundry and ironing to do.

Talk to you later.

Good Evening!

Howdy to everyone!:)

So nice to have you back, Rhea. I won't say anything about the interview either. You again reminded me that I need to call collage and get this video. I really like that you can break it up -- it'll be good for my evening workouts, I think. Just wrote it on my to do list.

Janie, your soups sound really lovely. And a book to teach others how to do it is fun, I think.

Jeanette, hope you're not exhausted from the weekend of work that you planned.;)

Hi to Tammy and Mandy!

So this week's rotation is an easy one to plan, I think:

Mon: IMAX2 -- my fav
Tues: ME -- another fav
Wed: Cardio & stretch
Thurs: Cardio & Weights
Fri: Cardio only from Drill Max -- for the anaerobics
Sat: Bootcamp -- Intensity series
Sun: Off

I'll throw in some short workouts in the evening, also -- at least until I get this weight under control.

Have a super day, everyone!:D

Rhea, Welcome back, we've missed you.:) Break a leg.;) Or is that for show business? Anyway I'm not saying anything about the interview either. Sounds like you had a wonderful workout. Don't worry about the guy below. If he heard, you would have known. Elephant you say? Then maybe he was afraid! LOL! Good to see you back.

KK, Your rotations are getting tougher every week. You go girl!

Hi to Jeanette, Tammy and Mandy.
