Kinko's printing???

DebbieH

Cathlete
I was wondering if anyone knows if I can do this: If I go to a place like Kinko's, is it possible to pull up the calendar/journal (that Cyndi has sooo graciously designed for us all) on THIER computer and copy it off? I just want to make nice, quality pictures. Thanks for your thoughts.

Debbie,

Per my email:

Debbie,

Kinko's, OfficeMax, Office Depot and yes even our wonderful Wal-Mart are in the "picture/file" printing business. I was listening to a WallStreet
report on Wal-Mart yesterday that said you can email your files to Wal-Mart and pick them up in an hour now! Haven't tried it, but sounded good.
If you are going to use one of these services, I suggest taking your files with you, on a CD, jump drive or several floppies.

Other useful things:
+ Know what kind of paper you'd like to use: weight, color etc.
(I suggest a heavier weight for the calendar and even a glossy/semi-gloss finish but they can give you details if you just know to ask for these things...)
+ Binding: they can offer different binding than just the 3-Ring
+ Hole Punch for the journal unless your using their binding

Good Luck,
Cyndi

Side Note:

As I was re-assembling my new Journal pages last night I discovered something: 3-hole punch both sides of each journal page WorkOut and Diet - here's why.
I like the 2-day spread (W/O-Diet facing me for each day) but since the pages face each other, when I turned to the next day there are two blank white pages
in between. I thought, good for extra notes, hmmm, not that much extra--seemed like a waste...So I put in a heavier weight paper and printed 7 W/O pgs &
7 Diet pgs (went and did some laundry ;-) Here's the cool part, Took the W/O pgs flipped them over in the printer and printed Diet pgs on the back and did the
same for the Diet pgs (flipped and printed W/O). Next, I three-hole punched both sides of each journal sheet. Lay them out-hook them on the binder rings, W/O
on the Left and Diet on the Right, continue... and now when I turn my pages, I have another full day rather than Blank/Extra Note pages...

Hopefully, I explained this ok. Basically, print one side with W/O and other side with Diet, 3-Hole punch both sides and assemble ;-)

Cyndi!

Thank you so much. I appreciate all the time you have spent putting this together for us all and also for helping me personally. My hubby surprised me and came home from work Saturday and handed me a folder. He was able to print the calendar for me and it turned out awesome. The pictures are a bit glossy and look wonderful! I can't wait to start using it. Now, I need to start whining to him I can't figure out how to do the journal! Ha! I am going to go check it out later tonight. Hope I can open it. THANKS sooo much! You're a sweetie!

I don't think a lot of people see this. I really thought there would be a lot more reaction to this. Guys, ya'll need to check out the Ask Cathe Forums & see Setistar's calendar. Even if ou won't like to use it, would you not show some appreciation for her trouble. I say this as just another friend in Cathe World.

Marla:)
