Killer butt and legs!

Hi,

I 5'1" and 105 lbs. and am looking to build and define my butt and legs. Which Cathe (or any other) videos would you recommend? Currently I am using the FIRM but I want to take on more of a weight lifting approach rather than circuit training since I'm looking to build muscle, not lose weight. Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.

Hi Mommy2!

Lisa has already given you great suggestions but I would like to add "Pure Strength Legs & Abs" and "Slow & Heavy Legs & Shoulders" to the list. Both are excellent workouts for building and shaping the legs.

Thanks for your replies! Of all these workouts, which has the most step-ups? The step-ups seem to work really well for me from doing the FIRM.

PLB will give you lots of reps on the leg-press. If you really like leg presses, also try Cathe's "Muscle Endurance" from the Intensity Series. In that workout, she does lots of leg presses on a 16" height, holding a 10 lbs plate. Of course, you can subsitute with dumbbells if you like.

PLB is good too, but I tend to think these other 2 have the most leg presses....

What kind of butt-lifting exercises are in Gym Style Legs? Is it different from the others that were mentioned?

I think Cathe's most effective leg workouts are:

1.PLB
2.Gym Style Legs
3.Legs and Glutes

I can't believe that you actually WANT leg presses?!:p YIKES!

Well, it helps lift the mommy but I've acquired after having two kids! Whatever works, right? For me, the most dreaded leg exercise are the lunges, so I'll take those leg presses any day!
