Killer At Large

Let's be realistic, guys. No one's going to file a lawsuit (or if they do, they're NOT going to to win) against the makers of high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, or other similar products. Those are HUGE money making corporations.

People keep trying to sue the tobacco companies (and I believe more and more are winning) but, once again, that industry is far too big to be shut down (at least right now).

It's the shady corporations and soul-sucking advertising that makes these products so popular.

We're all slowely killing ourselves. Corporations are only concerned with their profit and the almighty dollar. Trust me--their role in America's failing health and frightening obesity epidemic is hardly weighing on their conscience.

ETA: If anyone's interested in a startling documentary regarding American corporations and their impact on our health and economy I recommend you check this out: http://thecorporation.com/index.cfm?page_id=2

Maybe they won't win, but it is bringing a lot of attention to the problem.
It is raising awareness.

Look how far we have come with cigarette smoking. Finding a place to smoke in public is far more challenging than it was 10 years ago.
