I do not know haow everyone else feels about it but I know when I get done with oneof Cathe's kickboxing sessions I feelempowered and my wholebody feels like it got a workout. It to me is one of the most overall effective workouts that I do. And I look forward to it everytime. The only complaint that I could have about her kickboxing dvd's is that there are not more.

Looking forward to the new one... Rachel:7

I'd say after the three-day split comes out, we'll have got enough weight workouts and step workouts to last us awhile, so why not make a kickbox-centric series? Maybe 2 different kickboxing workouts (one interval--maybe using a med ball, as suggested in another thread--or combining floor and step kickboxing moves, and one more steady-state with a premix for a KB/weights circuit---or 3 KB workouts, using all 3 ideas!)

(and a step workout for those who have been waiting for an all-step workout for a while).;-)

Count me in on the kickboxing!! Maybe utilizing the band as resistance training between kick/punch sequences, sort of circuit-style. There are so many step workouts already, it would be nice to have more KB options to choose from!!

I too would love to see more kickboxing. My first ever Cathe workout was K,P,C adn ever since then I have been hooked! I guess, though, I would like to see longer "cardio" portions. I combine Cathe's kickboxing workouts---high intensity from K,P,C, blast challenge from KM, and 2x boot camp cardio only premix, and then kicking and punching combos. I love the workouts, just wish the actual higher intensity stuff would be longer.

Not sure about more kickboxing. While when I do group ex @ the gym, Kickboxing is my thing. Im not feeling it with Cathe. I have KPC but I haven't done it yet. I started with Kick Max and grew bored after 20 minutes looking for 30 minutes when I figured Id had enough and got somewhat of a workout, or @ least enough to stop. It just didn't do it for me.

There should be a more advance kickboxing. Something more quick pace. There's far too manu jack and "marching" interludes which is suppose to race teh heart rate but it seems to waste time. Even walking back and forth on hte side could be a shuffle. SOMETHING!!! I just don't find them that intense and Im not sure if k-boxing is cathe's thing. Best stick to Step instead

Did you go far enough into Kick Max to get to the blast challenge? I agree that the first part of the workout is a bit slow and not too challenging, but the blast challenge is wonderful. Lots of plyo jumping. It really gets your HR up there! ALso, you really ought to take a look at K,P,C. It is a really good workout, especially if you combine it with the blast challenge.
