Kick Max + Ankle Weights?

Has anyone tried the leg sculpting drills with ankle weights? I usually do the low impact premix and have been using 2-lb weighted gloves (which I found to up the intensity nicely)...this morning, I thought I'd try my 2.5-lb ankle weights for the sculpting drills as well...I definitely could feel the difference, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it was gonna be...of course, I'll have to see what my legs are saying tomorrow. :)

i bow to you if you do use ankle weights. if i were going to i would start with one pounders but that is just me. good luck and let us know how you did.

I already used 'em...and it really wasn't that bad!!...but I definitely wouldn't use them for any other parts of the workout. :)

I use my 3 pound ankle weights for only the leg drills. I use my barbell for balance.

I've used both my 3 pound and 5 pound ankle weights. Have to work a bit to really be able to use the 5 pounders. I like the weights because it helps me really concentrate and feel the various kicks. I have a background in Tae Kwon Do, so I'm a stickler for kicking correctly and this really helps.

I've used 5-lb ankle weights for the sculpting drills and like it - kind of like the ankle weights in Legs and Glutes.
