Kick Butt Lunges

I have been working my way through the Timesaver DVD (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE so far!), and just got to the part where you do "kick butt lunges." My question is this - there is NO way I can keep up with you speed-wise or depth-of-lunge-wise; should I just try to do every other lunge?

great...now i will have to buy the timesaver dvd...it is the only one i didnt buy!!!! WHAT IS A KICK BUTT LUNGE!!!!}(
 
Oh, Joannafit - you could probably turn your regular lunges into "kick butt lunges" if you were REALLY sinister!!!! :)
All you do is lunge down, and instead of bringing your lunging leg back alongside your other leg at the end, you use your lunging leg to "kick" yourself in the bum - so, you only put that lunging leg DOWN when you lunge forward; then you push right back up and kick yourself in the bum with that leg! Cathe does them so LOW, and so FAST - it's amazing!!!!!
