Kelly Ryan and DH arrested for murder

Am I living in a cave? Has then been discussed? I am thumbing through my Oxygen magazine and see (on page 50) that Ryans mom died from a heart attck while trying to sell her house to pay for her DD's legal fees. I do a search and learn that Kelly Ryan (Fitness Pro that is usually all over oxygen magazine) was arrested for the murder of her personal assistant and the evidence against her is pretty intense!

Anyone hear about this??
 
i heard about this a few months back. i haven't heard about their trial yet or anything so they must still be doing an investigation.yep both were big names in the bodybuilding industry and all down the toliet b/c they though the assistant was stealing money and it all went crazy from there.

Yeah, this happened a while ago. She still made it into the Oxygen calendar though. Guess it was too late to pull her picture by the time the stuff hit the fan.
 
Well, it looks like the murder happened December 14th or so and the body was found burning in Kelly's Jaguar hours after Kelly was caught on video buying several gallons of lighter fluid at 3 a.m.

The DH said he had an affair with the victim but Kelly knew nothing of it. This is pretty much all I know, a few other random details.

Why would such a thing happen over embezzlement? Why not have the personal assistant arrested?

There must be more to the story. I was hoping that those of you who do not live in a cave like mine would know.

Some speculate that 'roid rage may have been involved.

And some people are just not well balanced, so a rational solution like calling the police to have her arrested may not have come to mind.
 
Kathryn, You are very right, these people are not balanced! I guess I was just thinking that since they took matters into their own hands, there must be a reason. Almost like they couldn't turn her over to the law because then they would get in trouble for something. I am speculating!

Was it confirmed that he was using steroids? Was Kelly?

Last question...I read that Mr. Ryan confessed to having an affair with the victim but Kelly had no clue...so why confess it?
 
Yes, this happened months ago. A bunch of nutcases, if you ask me. I wonder who killed her, though? Did she do it in a rage or did he do it to appease her? ... and how long until the really bad made-for-TV movie comes out??!!

Sorry, I am just convinced that the world is a crazy, crazy place.
 
I remember hearing this too, and for some reason, I want to say that DH killed the assistant, but Kelly Ryan was trying to help him cover it up . . .or maybe I've been watching too many primetime dramas . . .

Well, something tells me it was a spur of the moment decision since Kelly was purchasing the lighter fluid not long before the burning car was found. Perhaps not planned out first since they did not have the supplies at their disposal beforehand. I don't know! But, I'm a planner...that's just me!
 
I agree that there must have been some underlying 'issue' that Kelly and Hubby did not want the PA to tell to the public. We'll probably never know the real truth behind that poor girls murder.

Or...the PA and H could have been doing some kinky sex thing and the girl died during the act and Kelly/H tried to cover it up. Whenever sex is involved you never know what people are doing behind closed doors.

But the bottom line...HOW STUPID ARE YOU TO BURN THE GIRL IN YOUR OWN VEHICLE AFTER YOU HAVE JUST GONE SHOPPING FOR GALLONS OF LIGHTER FLUID?

Good Grief. Besides the surveilance tape...is she really so dumb as to not think the store employees would remember such a purchase and the description of the person buying that much of a flammable substance?
 
Clearly, despite the fact that they lived in Vegas, these folks have never watched even ONE episode of CSI. Otherwise, they would know...

* Burning the body doesn't make the bullet disappear
* Burning the car doesn't make the body disappear
* All cars have a VIN number
* Dead body in YOUR car = serious investigation
* Credit card charges are traceable.... and every store in Vegas has a surveillance camera

Seriously, I'm not suggesting criminals get smarter or even that they watch more TV, but this just seems ... really dumb.

I read about this online a while back. Apparently the girl was skimming money from them and the hubby was sleeping with her. Kelly apparently told DH he needed to deal with the problem and he did. I think Kelly is being charged as an accessory to muder and DH is chrged with murder 1. I just read also that Kelly's mom died of a heart attack while showing Kelly's house to a prospective buyer. They are selling their house to pay for legal fees. Kelly's mom had been under a lot of stress and she died.

Maybe they are as stupid as people around here who put toilets and sinks on their burn piles (as if the heat will reach a temperature to melt them?).

Even more stupid: while they were on the run, Kelly stopped to get a manicure!

Definitely NOT playing with a full deck.
 
I was thinking it may have been a kinky sex thing as well. I was also wondering if maybe the 3 of them were knocking boots, who knows. But when Titus seemed to willingly confess to an affair, seems like the truth behind the incident is much more severe.

I was even wondering about Ryan's money...maybe that was dirty to begin with. Not that it matters but I am thinking this was done to cover up something really ugly! Maybe PA was black mailing them for something really major!

Oh, I cannot wait until the made for t.v. movie is out! I'll settle for a True Hollywood Story.
