//// :: keep it clean weekend :: \\\\

angie, i am in pieces. that is horrifying. my heart goes out to the all, esp poor benjamin. prayers are being said

That is horrible! I cannot believe what people are capable of. Here's another one: My friend's FIL drives a milk delivery truck. The other day when it was -10*(without the wind chill), he was dropping off milk to a school that was closed due to the weather. As he's getting ready to drive away, he sees a car pull up, a little girl about 6-7 years old get out and the mom drive away!! Mind you there was not one car in the parking lot, no busses, no other kids, nothing! He sees the little girl trying to open the school doors which are, of course, locked. So he goes over to her and explains how he knows she's not supposed to talk to strangers, but would she please get in the cab of his truck to keep warm. He then calls police, the school district, and gets the little girl to give him her mom's number. He calls her and goes off! The police, the school, and EMS come. He sees the police talking to the "mother" and then leaves.

I was so distraught when I heard this story. It got me choked up. I cannot imagine my 6 year old going through that. If that man had left, she would've been dead in minutes. And she'll probably just get reprimanded. Makes me sick.

Angie, I couldn't read the whole story. That kind of stuff makes me feel like I am going to throw up. On a different note, rotation looks good! Please give GS a fair chance, take measurements, and do NOT wear your HR monitor!

Robin, the elliptical looks good!!

Klaudia, I forgot to ask yesterday, how was your dinner out with the girls on Friday?

Morris, sorry about the mostly sleepless night!

It's my rest day but I couldnt help myself!! 55:02 minutes, 446 cals, 157 / 174 HR. I was only gonna do 30 minutes, but it felt so good I kept going. Now I need to do grocery max -- stuffed peppers for dinner tonight!!

hello everybody - quickie for me....

all the sad stories - yuck. ita w/ katie - makes my stomach hurt.

our fridge died!!!!! im so mad!

eats have been clean, wo's are great.

bbl.....

Angie that story made me mad. If you don't have patience for small children then why work in a daycare

Klaudia that sounds familiar. I remember when I was about 15mins late getting to my girlscout meeting and YES parents still dropped off their little on to an empty classroom. In fact the one room that was open was the GS room and there weren't any other adults on the floor. What if a creep was watching.

Kate that's good news...time to shopmax and new refrig.:)

Hi everyone,

I still have an ache in my stomach from the whole ordeal. It's so horrible. My SIL is looking for a new place this week. They day care still hasn't contacted them to tell them what happened. They're thinking of going in tomorrow to just check in and see what they're saying. I can't imagine anyone taking their children there.

Ok, well, you've all convinced me to try GS and a little heavier lifting next month. We'll see how it goes. :)

I'll see you all in the AM!

morris, hope you get to nap today! how does your week ahead look?

angie, i read that article - too sad. disgusting, actually. one of the big reasons im a sahm.

Hi Everyone!

I think I have DH's cold. I have cooked pumpkin black bean soup and and beef stew, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom, gone to the grocery store and I am just wiped out.

Kate, it's the stress, lack of sleep and not eating regular meals that makes us keep getting sick. Last year I had the candy jar when I couldn't eat my snacks. I need to work on that the next couple of weeks.
Angie, that story just made my heart sink. I think all daycares need to do a better job screening people who work in a daycare. I hope your SIL finds a new daycare.
Klaudia, I don't even have kids but couldn't even imagine leaving a child anywhere that appeared deserted.
Robin, I am jealous you got an elliptical. I am going to hold out for a treadmill.
Morris, sorry about your bad night. I have a hard time napping too.
