KB Question--Where to after Lauren?

Okay, I caved and got the Lauren Brooks DVD and 15#, 20# kettle bells for Christmas. I am just starting, but liking it very much.

Just so I can plan and save, which workout should I look at getting next? I already know that I'll need heavier bells eventually--sigh$$$. But there is always my birthday, if I can wait until August.

My Target store only carries the 15 and 20# kettlebells. Where is a good place to get them? Wal-Mart has Site-to-Store, but I wonder about their quality.

Thanks much guys,

Elsie
Not an Intellectual, either.

P.S. Thanks for all the KB posts. I find them very informative--and enabling.

P.P.S. If you do think you are an intellectual, doesn't that just prove that you aren't intelligent enough to know what you don't know? (Just kidding, in case the sarcasm doesn't come over the connection).

Hi Elsie,

ITA with others on the Art of Strength DVD's.

I've purchased kettlebell from Perform Better - www.performbetter.com and Muscle Driver - www.muscledriverusa.com .

I had good experiences with both vendors. Perform Better has reasonable prices and shipping costs, especially if you're on the east coast.

My Muscle Driver purchase was during a sale on their Grey Series, where I got a nice deal on a 35lb KB. The one thing to note about the Muscle Driver KB's is that the handles are a little thicker than others (like Perform Better's). It doesn't bother me, but I know some other folks have trouble grasping the thicker handle.

FWIW - I think both brands are good.

I just preordered Kettlebell Dynamics today (Amy Bento). I also have the Lauren Brooks. I am hoping that Amy Bento's will kick up the "fun factor" and music choice a bit.
