Kathryn--Slim Series&TLP

Kathryn,

You were very helpful to me a week or so ago with your opinion on Slim Series vs. the new TLP videos. By the way, I have many, many workout videos, so I guess I'm a collector also!

I'm still thinking about this, and have another question. You had suggested that I might just want to get Mix it up and Firm it up. If I do that, it's $39.95 plus s&H. If I pay another $19.95, I get all six. Given that, if I were to get these is it worth it to spend the money for one more and actually get four, or are they so close that you'd still say just get the two you mentioned?

On the TLPs, do you have all three of the current releases, and are they all worth getting?

Thanks again for your help! I find that all of your posts, regardless of the topic, are always very helpful.

I'd go for it and get all of them, then you can see which ones you prefer (which may not be the ones I prefer) and sell the others on Ebay.

Yes, I have all three. I've only used the first one so far, because Tracie recommends using it 3x/week for about 3 weeks (or mastering it--which I'm not at yet!) before moving on, so I can only speak from observation rather than use. Core Foundations is most definitely worth getting. The other two look effective as well, and are different from the first. Of the three, I think I'll like 2 the least because the instructor is very bla (doesn't smile once) and is off the beat of the music quite often (when I do the workout, I'll probably follow the music, and sometimes it works out that the instructor and I catch up with each other---by the way, Debbie is almost always off the musical beat in SS, so I just play my own music--there's a "music-off" option--and follow it's beat, which works fine since the moves are simple and not choreographically challenging).

The third workout has a lot of plyometric moves and looks fun.

You're welcome! Hope this helps. If you want more info, ask and I'll make up something!! :D

Kathryn,

You're too funny, but helpful! I think I will order the entire Slim Series, and just Core Foundations for now.

Thanks, as always!

RE: Kathryn-one more question!

Kathryn,

Me again. One more question. Which workout do you consider to be #2. Is it the Functional Strength?

Thanks!

Lisa
