Hello Cathe and Fun Educated Crowd.
I've been following these posts for a while now, but I thought it was about time I joined in. I purchased my first couple of Cathe videos from Collage about a hundred years ago. I started with MIC but quickly developed a bone spur in my foot. (Could it perhaps have been from doing high impact aerobics on a concrete basement floor? How brilliant was that?). Well, I got out of the high impact stuff until the foot healed, and only got back into it about a year ago (my husband put thick rubber mats in our workout room, and that seems to have solved the bone spur situation). Well anyway, I thought to myself, I wonder if that great instructor has made any new videos in the last several years...let me see if she has a web-site. Boy, did I hit the mother load when I found this site!! I believe I now have all your workouts (except for MIC, which I gave away many years ago in a childish fit of bone spur pain!).
I also had the opportunity to take a live Cathe kickboxing class this past winter. (I don't know if you remember, Cathe, but my husband set me up with your class as a Christmas gift, and he came with me to your gym and worked out while I took your class).
So now that I've run on about myself for a while, I just want to say that I love your workouts. You are the only instructor that I use for weights and I think I'm in better shape now at 39 than I was when I played college volleyball 20 years ago. Someone asked my husband where I got my biceps and he said, "From Cathe".
So thanks to you Cathe for making fitness fun, and thanks to all your faithful followers for their entertaining, yet very helpful posts. (In fact, I successfully learned from someone in one of these posts how to do those pesky pikes on the stability ball!).
Take Care,
Shelbygirl
