Cathy if I am just starting what series would you recommend? I am just curious. I want to develop muscle endurance for running and I thought your routines would be far better than slugging around heavy weights in the Gym. Also I am trying to get down to a running wieght that would be health. I currently weigh 265 due to lifting for Bulk I realize now that that thinking was stinkin thinkin. So I am wanting to change how I work out.

Hi there,

Not Cathe and thought I would throw in my two cents.

It sounds from your post that you're already in pretty good shape. Given that, I think you might enjoy the Intensity series of 6 workouts. IMAX 2 is a terrific interval style cardio workout which is sure to increase your cardio capacity for running and other cardio activities you enjoy. The Pyramids (upper and lower) are great strength routines that should help you with maintain muscle definition while cutting down on the very heavy lifting. Boot Camp is one very tough and very fun circuit style workout which will benefit your aerobic capacity and help you with getting less bulky muscle development. Cardio and Weights is the 'easiest' of the 6, IMO, and is a very fun step workout that mixes in periods of compound weight work and heavier upper body work.

You might want to consider adding the Terminator DVD from the Intensity series as well. This DVD has 3 workouts that combine all 6 of the other workouts in different ways, often creating a harder workout.

Good luck and welcome!
