My son's relay team clocked a 50.42 in the 4 x 100. The school record is 50.40. They have two more meets to try and beat it. Not bad for two 8th graders (Ian being one) and two 7th graders. Next meet - Lutheran Schools Regional Meet this Saturday. Lutheran Schools State meet two weeks after that.

Thanks for all the good vibes on Friday. It was a picture perfect evening in mid-Michigan to watch a track meet. This meet was HUGE - many schools but public and parochial. Fun!

Oh man, so close!! Great that they are trying so hard to break the record! Let us know how they do the next two meets. Myoldest is on the varsity team, 9th grader so his first year. Youngest is on modified, 7th grader. He does the 4 x 100 relay. I beleive their time is 54, I'll have to ask him. They REALLY need to work on their hand-offs though.
Prayers for good weather & a record time + NO INJURIES!!!
