While doing Power Hour today, I managed for the first time, EVER, to do 16 toe pushups in a row. When you consider that it was only this year I've been able to do toe pushups AT ALL, I'm very excited!

Afterward I was thinking of the old song "16 Candles," but instead I was singing "16 PUSHUPS!"

Corny, yeah, but I was simply thrilled at this breakthrough. Plus I recently broke the 140 pound barrier (weighing in at 139); I haven't seen the 130s for about 25 years! It's a day of celebration!

That's great - just keep doing them and you will gradually increase the number you can do. And they are great for your physique! The most I've ever been able to do is 25 (that was a couple of years ago) and I am happy to report that after only being able to do about 15 for the last few weeks, I am now back to 25. It feels great. :)

Susanne,

Ah, that's cute. Hey, if it works it works. Congratulations on your accomplishments!

Congrats, Susanne!! :) Great accomplishments. Your hard work is paying off!

I know what you mean about the guy-style pushups...I could barely do ANY when I started doing GS C&T this spring...Now I'm up to about 45 or so...it's a killer, but I do feel much, much stronger!

That's huge. Keep up the good work. If you stay persistent and consistent with them, you'll be amazed at the number of reps you can build up to.
