Just got my Turbo Jams...OMGGGGGGGGGG!!

Hey Ciddy or anyone else that's moved on to the more advance Turbo Jams. I agree, I really like these workouts, but I would warn folks they are not at all like Cathe so comparing them is like apples to oranges.

I think the tubing is kind of dinky, too, but I have stronger tubing (you can get it at any sporting goods store) and that helps a lot. I don't think I would rely on Chalene for strength BUT her cardio is great fun and the time just flies by. I actually really love the counter feature as this somehow makes the time seem so much more manageable rather than overwhelming (time is often the dread factor for me on workouts).

YBB are cute and fun workouts - again, they're different, but that's sort of the point!

= Punch kick jam
- Cardio party
- Fast blaster
- Actually like the 20 min workout (25 mins) when you just have a little time

Haven't done the weight ones (3T or Turbo Sculpt)

I'm glad you had a good experience with BB. About the weighted gloves at Target, I bought those and love using them with kickbox workouts.

I love to do my Yoga Booty Ballet's on Saturday's. I usually do 2 of them back to back and then some stretching or yoga and consider it an active recovery day. However, that being said, I can get my HR up into the 150's or even hit 160 doing YBB. It all depends how big you make your movements and use your hands, hips, etc. They generally cheer me up when I'm down and it feels good to move your body in different ways than traditional aerobics works you!

My .02 on the gloves is it's best to start with the one pounders so that you don't overtax your joints right away. I think there are one and three pounders available. You'd be surprised at the amount of difficulty the one pounders add...

I have the Maximum Results package, plus Lower Body Jam and Cardio Party 2. So far I've done CP2, Lower Body Jam and Fat Blaster. LBJ is too easy for me but will be a nice add on to a cardio workout if I want to get some extra lower body work in. I love CP2 and Fat Blaster. Sometimes I double up on the intervals to make FB longer. It's chaptered well so it's easy to do that. I've heard great things about Kick, Punch and Jam and CP3 and can't wait to try them.

I don't hear much about the TJ Lives but I was thinking of ordering them. Some people have mentioned they don't care for them. Any comments?

I have the Live dvd's. I love Cardio Party Remix. It is a great addition to Fat blaster if you want a longer workout. There are 2 Turbos back to back at the end then add Fat blaster and you have an intense workout. Lower Body Jam is OK if you really try to up the resistence. I add it to other workouts though. Booty Sculpt plus abs is much better but is a total body workout with lower body focus. Abs are short. I find it fun though. It is like dancing while doing weights:)
