...I am so excited! AquaJock has posted so many awesome mish-moshes that I haven't tried because, well, I'm just not patient enough to do all of that DVD swapping. But the player I got has a 5-DVD changer. I can't wait to use it!!!

Sorry, had to brag to the ladies who would understand. :)

Oh, Marie . . . think of the mish-moshes that await you . . .

Here are a couple more (or variations on each other) to keep you happy; we'll call them . . .

MARIE'S INAUGURAL MISH-MOSHES

Interval Max warm-up
HSTA cardio only premix
I-Max 3 blast only premix (omitting blast #1 if preferred; it repeats straddle taps found in the last blast of HSTA)
Kick Max blast challenge
Boot Camp cardio only premix

Rhythmic Step warm-up
HSTA cardio+lower body only premix
Body Max Power Circuit segment
CTX Power Circuit power circuit segment
Boot Camp cardio+legs only premix

Get ready to blow the ceiling off of your cardio endurance, not to mention your interest level in your workouts!

Annette, thanks so much!

I'm having some issues figuring out the player, though. It seems like you can only program one disk at a time and then you have to forward to the next? Can that be right? Does yours work by programming pieces from the workouts as you wish without swapping to the next disk? (I'm thinking that's how it's supposed to work, but haven't cracked it just yet.)

Tahnks!
Marie

OMG Marie...I do hope you can walk okay, in the near future, after your AJ killer workout:eek: Whew!!!

Thinking of you,
Robin;-)

I'M SO JEALOUS!!!

My DVD player is a piece of trash... really. It's my dream to own a multi-disk player so I can mish-mosh til the cows come home:)

In the meantime, I will steal the mish-moshes A-Jock posted above and do them the old fashioned way - switching disks;)

I have one and can't figure out how to use the darned thing so Shelley, if you want it...come and get it!!!;)

Actually, it's DH's...part of a man-thing...had to have the surround sound system, yadda yadda yadda...so it's not mine to give. Sorry. :-(

Well, jogging as you switch DVDs works fairly well if you don't own a multi-disk player. I've been trying out a few mishmoshes that way. It also improves your coordination - can you find the right button and aim the darned control while bouncing up and down???;-)

Hi, Marie! I don't "program" disks the way they say you can in those gibberish-laden "instruction manuals".

What I do instead is load up all the discs I need for the mish-mosh in the player, cycle through each one getting to the point in the disc's workout I want it to begin, and then "disc-skipping" or disc-advancing to the next disc. My brand, a Sony Fossil 2K2, "marks" the point on each disc where it left off and "remembers" to resume playing the disc at that point when the machine comes to that disc again. Does that make sense?

This is very helpful especially when I want to begin a disc mid-chapter, as with MIC (I like to do only the ultra-high intensity hi/lo portion of MIC, about 18:35 minutes into the workout).

I know there's some freak way of "programming" workouts but I have no idea how to do it myself. My ham-fisted way seems to work pretty well for what I need.

Ladies, thanks. I am off to complete my FIRST EVER mish-mosh, courtesy of the torturess who is AquaJock. }( }( I can't wait!

I will post later if I can walk back up the steps!

:p
