Just did Circuit Max for the first time

Can you give me details of this workout PLEASE :) Yes I know I could reas it from the site but I want someone who has done it to tell me :)

Roughly, you do a nice hi/lo warm up and stretch, a 5 minute circuit of hi/lo, a circuit of squats and shoulder presses, 5 more minutes of hi/lo, circuit of lunges and shoulder side lateral raises and squats and front raises, a 5 minute kickbox circuit, more weights, 5 min step, more weights, more step....

You get the picture.

I mostly run and do some Cathe step. I haven't done hi/lo since doing my lovely Jane Fonda video in the late 80's. It was an excellent change of pace.
 
I like the hi/lo in Circuit Max, and I'm not a huge fan of hi/lo. I always smile when Cathe says, "Okay, I'll leave out the monkey sounds". Circuit Max is an intense workout - it's CTX's 10-10-10, only longer, and with weights added in between the cardios.

Terri, you were asking about longer cardio workouts/mish moshes. In her Jan '04 rotation Cathe put one together that really kicks butt: Circuit Max immediately followed by CTX Step & Intervals. It's 90 minutes, and quite a workout. Reminded me of MIC in many ways.

I think this workout has a huge fun factor bc you are constantly doing something different - so this is one I reach for when I have no idea what I feel like doing bc it has step/kickbox/weights/hi-lo! What a fantastic mix and my heart rate gets up there........
 
I agree, this workout does have a great mix of stuff. Circuit Max used to really kick my butt, but since I've upped my cardio with IMAX 3 and the Terminator, this one is way more do-able for me, but still nicely challenging. I'm so glad I have this workout!
