I HAD suggested you create a bunch of Low Impact/HIGH INTENSITY workouts along the lines of Low Max but if you had just one person doing low impact moves in all your future high impact cardio routines it would easily address this issue. Then all your cardio routines could be used by everyone. People like me could follow the low impact person when things get too hard, eventually (hopefully) working up to doing all the high impact moves. The current alternatives are a) Do nothing, march, or step when all the jumps are happening or b) Leave the blasts out altogether, which makes it tough to build up to... anything. Just one of the ladies doing low impact modifications? Pleeeeeeeeeeez?

That's a wonderful idea! I've always done the high impact moves, but lately I'm having knee pain issues and have backed off some of them. Sometimes I'm not sure what to substitute for the move I'm avoiding and would love to see the options on the video!:)

I totally agree with this. Or, as an alternative, just an added on chapter that walks you through modifications to use. I'm having to stop doing any step at all because of knee pain, but if I could ease back into it, this would be an attractive option for me.

Thank God. It's a relief to know it's not just me. I REALLY want to be able to do all the tough workouts without having to eliminate entire sections because I don't know what else to do when the Big-Time Jumping starts. Thanks for the support.

I am not buying the new series because of all the high impact and no modifiers showing low impact during the workout. Most instructors show low impact modifiers nowadays, so I do not understand why Cathe, who I consider cutting edge, does her dvds in an "either or" format--either all high impact or all low impact. Giving low impact suggestions does not work either; it really is great when instructors have someone doing the low impact version so I can follow along with that person.

Yea, I'm with you. I was rumaging around the Collage Video website and was astonished to find there's virtually no cardio classified as Advanced but Low Impact. So it's certainly a growth industry.

I need challenge without injury. I'm hoping Cathe (are you listening?) will take this on. If anyone can figure out how to make cardio challenging for us Low Impact (No Injury) people she'd be the one. But yea, in all the other cardio I've done there's nearly always someone in front of the camera modifying the moves. If only all the other cardio were as challenging as Cathe. Even now, Low Max knocks me out! I just figured one person modifying would completely eliminate the need for entirely seperate workouts for The Rest of Us.
