Good morning ladies!!

Today's schedule has been walking the dog, I got Lauren doing her weights (we hit all the muscle groups and I had her try 5s for most of the exercises except shoulders and triceps) and situps and stretch..Then I hit Imax 2 for my workout today...Now I got my shower then later I am taking Lauren to her drawing class while I go to target!! Fun I know!!

NOt much else going on..Eating is good so far today. Yesterday was so so. I ate too much and this week is TOM so I feel FAT!!

Hi all to follow!!

This morning I have the Ultra Blast Premix from Drill Max on tap. I usually would have finished by now, but felt the need to go out to Circuit City and buy the new Coldplay CD (plus got a free Coldplay t-shirt w/purchase!). And we went to Pet Co. and bought the kitties some treats (scratching board, new dish, under the litter box matt) ... Now I've had my yogurt and blueberries, and will hit the drills with Cathe in about 15 minutes...

I was debating on a run, but I think the blast premix has got to be more intense than a run. But then again, my 'free' days are running out, with the kids getting out of school this week. I'll only be able to run on the days hubby is off. Decisions , decisions!

Kathy... that sounds like fun doing weight work with your daughter. Like being a personal trainer! My 8 year old son has been interested in doing weights too , not so much the cardio, LOL! He does some free weights, and also has used my barbell. He flexes his muscles and brags that his arms are bigger than a boy in his class... LOL!!! Men... all alike!

Kathy, did Chris' baseball game get rained out? If not, how did they do?

Chris, I can only run outside on the weekends, too, cause my DH works a schedule like yours! And I work during the day. It's just not the same on the treadmill. So, I vote for the outdoor run! ;) But, I'd love to hear how the Drill Max premix is! Come back and report!

I think we're all setting really good examples for our kids in showing them how important it is to exercise and stay healthy.

Today I subbed Amy's In the Ring for the KB/BC premix. I don't think any of us following this rotation did that premix? Amy's was alot of fun and I have most of the moves down now. Tomorrow is Step, Jump, Pump.

I'm a bit behind on all the going ons here in this checkin so I hope I haven't missed anything major

Still following the rotation and did DM Ultra Cardio Blast - now I'm not a big fan of Drill 5 or 6 and doing them twice ugh! But I followed through and completed the workout and burned lots of calories along w/ maintaining my HR up so it did the cardio for today did its job lol

Anyways I still have my mom visiting so I have been taking her out and driving her around - its fun but the heat is so draining. Today I'm taking her for a pedicure :)and then some shopping again lol poor woman has walked so much so she's out on the deck sunning herself while I post :p

Vilma: Glad to see you back with us..Good job keeping up with workouts. I think the heat has made me sluggish lately too. This weekend I was so tired feeling. I think it was because I was outside alot watching the kids in the pool and running around with my parents. It does take alot out of you!!

Joanne: Chris' game got cancelled due to the rain..So, they play tonight and they are champs if they win and if they loose they play tomorrow for the win( they have to loose twice to be out of it and every other team has 1 lose excpet Chris') YEAH!!

Chris: It's funny because summer is when I get more free time. During the school year, we spend all morning with lessons and afternoons with classes that I feel I have no time for anything. Now I can't go jogging outside by myself. But, that's ok. At least I can get my DVDs done when I want. I have been trying to do them first thing. Then I have the day for other stuff like the pool..How are those cute kitties doing? Got any photos taken recently?

I am going to try and get some photos on here in a few minutes of our Denver trip!!

VILMA! Great to "see" you!

I finished the DM ultra blast premix...Holy SWEATFEST! See, I'm not a big fan of the drill with the ball (*shudder*) and it took a bunch of mmmmph for me to get through that the second time! GRRR! I LIKE the football drills though. I always really get into the high leg jog at the end!! Anyhow, it sure feels GOOD to get that one done and yes, a BUNCH of calories burned!

I know I didn't do the KB/BC premix last week. I think everyone did skip it. LOL!!

I will have to post some kitty pictures... I think I have a new one in Photobucket...

will come back after my grocery trip (ugh) ...

They are SOOO funny together. Kiwi is a total clown. They play tag, wrestle, .. look out the window together. they're sweet!

Vilma, good to "see" you. Sounds like you and your mom are having a nice time. I know, the heat drains me too. It's about 75 here today - my kind of weather. I'm sure we'll be back in the 90s soon enough though.

Kathy, good luck again to Chris! My oldest son played baseball when he was around 8. His team won the "world series" that season - he hasn't played since - says he wants to go out a winner!

Chris, wow, poor Kiwi really needs to relax. It's too bad she's not very comfortable with your family yet. ;) :p Cute pictures!!
 
Howdy! I'm having a very non-standard day. Crazy sleep last night, but it's a long very crazy story. I didn't work out this morning (had that drill max premix on tap and was looking forward to it!). I may try to run before I pick up my kids from basketball camp -- we'll see.

I think I did do the KB/BC premix one day last week -- I was dreading the BC part, but it was pretty quick and sort of fun.

My MIL is gone -- whew! It got very ugly at the end, but I won't air details on a public forum.

Kathy, great work getting your kids to do weights! My kids sometimes do some lifting of mine on their own, but boy does their form suck! They're lifting way too heavy, of course. They are having fun at basketball camp this week, but my 9 year old came home with a shiner last night -- some kid basically head-butted Travis' face. Yowch!

Good luck with the baseball game! We're all waiting to hear how it goes.

Ok, I don't know if any of you will see this, because it's late, but Chris & Vilma, I just have to say that I bow down in awe of both of you! I came home and started the drill mix ultra blast premix, and I skipped all of the repeats. I just could not make myself do it. I know at 5am when it's cooler and I'm not mentally distracted I probably could have worked through it, but there was just no way I could do it all tonight (not to mention the kids were hungry and it was dinner time so I felt guilty enough anyway). Someday I want to do the whole premix. I love drill max -- the premixes more than the original, but just love it. Anyway, good work, girls!!
