June 08 Check in Sunday 8th

Good morning everyone -- I think I'm the first one here. I guess you are all sleeping in and having a nice rest day. Well, maybe not. Vilma is busy with guests and Chris is just getting back from work or finally getting some sleep -- don't know how you do it, Chris!!

Well, you are all right! I loved IMAX 2!! It's way more fun than IMAX 3 -- those blasts in 3 seem to go on forever, don't they? Is that just me, or do they really? Interestingly enough, my HRM numbers weren't much different for the two of them, but it said I burned more calories with 3. Who knows -- 2's a great workout, for sure!

We had a great day with my MIL yesterday. Took her out to a slough with lots of wildlife and then to the beach. Nice day!

Oh, Chris -- I was very envious when reading the story about the kitties -- how fun!!

Good afternoon all!

I am enjoying a true rest day today. We are going to the pool and there will be lawn mowing in my future, but that is it. It's too hot to do much else.

Anyone have a plan for tomorrow's WO that doesn't include CTX? I don't own that and I am not sure what to sub for it. Any advice would be appreciated!

Waves Hello!

I was up early and did CCv8 if you don't have that one yet - get it its GOOD!

Technically today was my rest day.

Have my mom here and MIL so house is full :7

Off to get some Baked Lasagna ready to cook for everyone although I won't be eating since it'll have some unclean fair in it lol

Checking in on "rest" day with you guys!

I was soooo tired at work last night, and it was crazy busy. It kind of sucked! LOL!... Hope tonight is better... Oh yeah, I caved to *crap* food too. A friend brought in a belated birthday cake for ME (A European Layer cake) , and I had some. I felt obligated. And then of course, after I ate the cake, I figured "what the heck" and ate sugar cookies and donuts. Why do we always have such "healthy" snacks at work??!!! But anyways, I was so mad myself. I had such high hopes! Next Saturday it WILL be better!

I'm feeling those leg presses today, are you guys?? ...

Beth and Vilma: Enjoy your visiting families. It sounds like you have nice days planned.

Beth: Glad to hear you enjoyed IMAX 2!! The music is one of the best tracks, to me. LOVE LOVE LOVE the pina coloda song at the end! It keeps me going!! I just so get into it all...

Becca: I don't have CTX either, so I browsed around at the different premixes and times, and am going to substitute Muscle Endurance Upper Body Premix. It's just a wee bit longer than CTX.

Okay..off to wait for hubby to bring me back my salad for dinner!

Hi ladies!! I am back. We had a great time in Colorado. It is so beautiful there. Hubby and I kept saying "We could live here". But, I know that it was a few days and things change after time. But, we had the best time. I will post some photos when I get some time. We visited the Garden of the Gods, the US Olympic training center, lots of scenery taken in, a few cool parks where they had an orchestra playing and we went to a Colorado Rockies baseball game. The game was cool..We got there early and the kids got down by the field and got a few autographs. They were really excited about that!!

Anyway, after a LONG day of travelling yesterday we were so glad to be home..Ready to get back to my workouts and eating better..I did run on the treadmill at the hotel once and use the bike. But, other than walking around and stuff...nothing! We stayed in a suite with a fridge and a stove. So, I went to the store and bought food so as not to have to eat out all the time. But, we did had a few outside meals.. I ate too much though..

I think I will be back to workouts tomorrow. Today was so busy with church and grocery shopping and cleaning up...I did miss checking in with you ladies too..

Chris: I hear ya on the bad eating that was me since Tuesday!! Good luck tonight.

Vilma and Beth: Enjoy your visitors. My parents will be here on Tuesday to visit for the week. They are driving from Florida in their RV...

Becca: I hope you enjoyed that pool..It is soooo hot here too.

Anyway, nice to be back. Off to eat dinner.
