Hi Ladies!

Sorry I've been so off lately! Wednesday, I had an appointment with a customer about getting her set up for her workouts. Thursday, I had golf and yesterday, Stephen was updating my operating system and I didn't have my computer a lot and forgot to check in! Oops!

Great workouts you two! You're making me feel bad! I seem to only play golf these days. Well, that's going to change! Right now!

I was horrible and had pizza last night. For the first time, they messed up our order, so they had to send us new pizzas. They didn't take the other two back, so now we are overly supplied with pizza. Hope it freezes well!

Not sure what I'm doing today, but whatever it is, it's going to be inside! We will break 100 again today - ugh. Yesterday was brutal and the house wouldn't cool down below 76. It's stuck at 79 this morning and probably won't go down much more as the day progresses.

I'm really excited because there's a new P90X iPhone App coming out soon! It looks so cool! I'm hoping that if it does well, they'll do the same for the other programs because I like the versatility of having my workouts in digital format.

Alisha - Good luck with the job hunting! I hope whatever job you get is fulfilling for you and pays well! Sending you positive energy!

Jane - Don't let your sisters be mean! Remind them they'll be on vacation, so they have to work extra hard to earn the cheats! Have a fabulous time on vacation, too!
 
Here is my workout for today. I took Friday off as a rest day.First Phase: Warm up

Tomorrow morning I am getting up early for a 9 mile run. Then it's back home to get everything packed and then head to the beach. We'll have another workout when we get to the house because we have to haul everything up the stairs. So...I'll be ready for a nice meal when we get everything inside. I'm excited to be off for a whole week. My sister has not had a whole week off since April of 2009!!!

I will miss you two girls this week. Take care of each other. Alisha, I hope you hear about one or all of your job opportunities. Tricia, I hope it cools off by you very soon!! It's been hot and humid here but it's suppose to be!

There was no reebok. I did do a joggle on Saturday. Today is going to be yoga. I had been working this 8k program but I'm finding it to be so difficult due to the amount of hills in my neighborhood. I have decided to change my rotation (surprising right;):p) Instead, I'm just going to do run/walks for 60 min. avoiding the walking as much as possible 3x/week. I'm adding back in more Cathe work. I don't think that the cycling did anything for me. I'm going to keep my advanced yoga workout. Normally if I can't be outside I will switch in a MMA workout. This coming week I have training on M and F, so I will move the workouts around.

Here is my new rotation breakdown:
Sunday: Yoga Today advanced (body weight strength work)
Monday: Jog or MMA
Tuesday: Cathe with intervals
Wednesday:Jog or MMA
Thursday: Rest (can be used on a different day)
Friday: Jog or MMA
Saturday: Cathe steady state

Jane- Have a good time, take pictures, get lots of exercise.

Tricia- I guess its just you and me, we'll be ok though, joggles tend to keep me out of trouble;):D
 
MMA KB is on the schedule for this evening before dinner. I will be in a class about Excel all day. It should be fun! :D

Hi there! I'll try really hard not to be AWOL since its just the two of us Alisha!

I know Jane won't get this for a week, but I hope you have a great vacation!

I've been nursing a badly cut pinkie finger! I was slicing a very large zucchini Saturday on my mandolin and almost took my finger off. I didn't go to the ER, but tried to go to the clinic down the street. Of course, it being the weekend - and we know no one ever needs medical attention on weekends - the clinic closed at 4. We wrapped it up and hoped for the best. Other than being uber-tender and bruised and a little numb, it doesn't look like it's going to fall off or anything! I've been on a forced hiatus now for a couple of days. I'm going to try IMAX tonight. Figure as long as I'm not putting any pressure on it now it should be okay to workout.

How was your class yesterday? Did you get MMA done, too? I have been such a slacker, now an injury. I've got to get back on track or I'm going to gain all my weight back again! One more week to my P90X/Insanity rotation and I WILL stick with it!

Hey Alisha! Hope you've had a good day today! I've decided to wait until my finger has healed a bit more before trying to work out. I've been whacking it around today and it still hurts like a bugger!

I have this giant zucchini. Is it you who makes some great zucchini bread? Do you have a recipe you know is good that you could share? TIA!

On the positive side, at least my food today had been great! Eggs and Shredded Wheat with blueberries and almond milk. Yogurt w/raspberries, wheat germ, chia seeds and flax seed for morning snack. I had salad with tuna, fresh cukes and chia seeds for lunch and fresh sliced cukes for mid afternoon snack and a handful of almonds. Dinner tonight is tuna steaks and homemade sweet potato fries. So hungry - just waiting on the fish . . .
 
I took a tumble on Tuesday afternoon up some stairs, normal people fall down stairs; me, I did it up stairs.:D Luckily I did not break anything. I just banged up my leg and knee. I will go back to workouts on Saturday. Tonight is Harry Potter club, we will be discussing the movie.

Tricia-I do make squash bread. Just be sure to squeeze out the fluid before you make it otherwise its too soggy. I hope your finger is better. Try some ginger on your finger, it will help the pain go away.

I think I have put on a couple of pounds. I'm not looking forward to Monday's weigh in. I am being good over the weekend. I am counting calories and eating smart. I hate being fat, really, really hate it.:(

I'm sorry! I feel like I've abandoned you! Sorry about your accident! I'm glad you're okay other than a bang and bruises! Hope you're better and able to workout tomorrow!

I haven't done anything either. Every little bang makes pain just shoot through my finger. It's better in that it no longer just hurts to the touch. Only a knock will do that now. I can bend the finger without tension in the tip. It is still numb and I fear that will not go away even when it's through healing. I think there's a little nerve damage, but I'm not a doctor and I don't even play one on tv! lol

I hadn't heard about using ginger. I've been trying lavender oil.

I'm ready to get moving again. I have to weigh in, do measurements, body fat and take pics this weekend. I'm not looking forward to it! I've entered the new Beachbody Challenge. I'm determined to do it right this time! Who knows? If I make significant enough transformation, I could win $1000 in the monthly entry! That'd be great! Most importantly, it will really help to keep me on track to know that I have to submit my info and pics at the end of my 12 week program! We shall see!

I hate taking pictures of myself. I don't think 1000$ would be enough:p:eek:

I went for a 2 mile hike this morning. It felt fine. I anticipate that I will be back at it this week. I won't start back at running for two weeks. But, I will be doing workouts. The hills here are a bit brutal.
