Cathlete
Hi Wonderful ladies!

~Kate, must be with Cathe. Ahhhh, some day I will workout with Cathe! She's on myspace.com's list of people I want to meet some day. I should add Amy Bento too, b/c she's fast becoming a favorite

~Mikkia, I haven't workout 4 days in a row in a long time---and I've never done all 4 DS's at once. Wow, you rock!

~Anne, any updates for us?

~Kristan, it's always so nice to hear from you. You've given me food for thought----how much "help" I'll take from the other wee-ones. Hmmmmm Let us know when you get it figured out---we need your wisdom!

~Trish, what's up? Busy busy I bet

~Candra, I don't know if I"ve read a post of yours in a couple days? Hope everything is well.

~Stephanie, ^5 to needing a vacation, Yes...take me!!! Good job on workouts

~Susan, waterslides sound like so much fun! How did it go?

~Jen#1, I didn't like that ob either! Wow, she sounds like a military chief or something!

~Lisa, still super busy? Able to get any workouts in?

~Maggie, love all inspirational wisdom. Thank you Thank you!

~Jen#2, you still out there? Starting to feel less fatigued and tired?

Did I miss anyone? Quite a crew we have here!

Now quick personals:

No more spotting. Yeah! I did have some cramping yesterday which scared me---but it ended up being diarrhea.

Nothing more on job prospects. I need to contact a couple other pharmacies and see what they have to offer. I always wanted to work in town---but the pharmacist couldn't offer me enough $/benefits. He doesn't believe in paid maternity leave. The other is a hospital pharmacy---same town as current job but only 8 hr days---and with a 90 minute drive---I'd prefer to work 10hr days & drive less days. So, it'll probably be KMart. I'm really nervious about signing a contract for 3 years though (which is what they want) b/c my last job ended up being not so great.

My pastor prayed for us & gave us a Ecc11:1 verse----to cast our bread in the water and in many days it will return. So, I cut up some bread and tossed it over the end of my dock & spent many tears/words with God. I'm not a crier, so it really felt good.

Gotta go, we have our church picnic & fish fry today. I hope DH comes with us. This week I work SIX days---b/c I have the following week off for numerous dr appts for family & dog.

Morning!
Melanie-so happy the spotting stopped!! Have fun at the fish fry
I just got done with PP. I usually chest press 40lbs, but I thought I would try 5lb db's. My left arm totally gave out on me. I tried to do overhead extentions and literally could not lift a 1lb weight with my left arm. Other arm exercises are fine, but anything with my triceps I just cant do. I've got a lot of work to do! I did standing abs so I wouldnt put pressure on my neck.
Hi to everyone. Have a great day. Hurry home Kate!!!!

Susan, Yeah to being able to workout. That was so cool putting your XRay on forum. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like everything is falling back into place for you. Isn't it amazing how we can be blindsided?

~Morris, Thanks also for your kind words. I miss your daily posts, but understand you are busy. Don't forget about us now!!!:D

Me Again

The picnic was fun, it's nice & warm today---lower 80s.

My spotting is back, still brown. No cramping. Just slightly concerned. I'll feel much better after u/s on Thursday. As much as we weren't planning on having a baby in the midst of our storms---I don't want to lose our baby. This has helped me focus more on the baby.

Hope everyone's enjoying their Sunday. I'm going to hold off on workouts for now, until spotting stops.

Melanie, so sorry the spotting has returned. I have always heard that a brownish discharge is almost always nothing. With both of my m/c the blood was red from the get go. I"ll be praying for you!

Kate- you back yet???

Hi everyone!

Dh and ds got back safely and it is so good to see them, especially ds because he's been gone so long. He's exhausted, so I'm letting him just lounge around today, but tomorrow, he's got to get back in the game.

I got tons of photocopying and filing done yesterday. (not to worry--everything I photocopy is approved for single family or classroom use) I try to do as much as possible for the whole year in advance. My but I go through ink quickly--it gets expensive. I also got an algebra lesson done. I'm on 88 out of 120. I figure if I get to 100, that's good enough. It's been good review and I feel less anxious about teaching ds next year, although we do have some excellent cd-rom instruction....

Okay, enough of the boring stuff.

++++++
Kristan---ahhhh--the 2 year old "head hug" or the "disney pat" (or the kissing, licking, curious poking, etc). I've never put a lot of boundaries on the love or handling of the babies, but the little ones definitely require supervision as they love a little rough. I do have a "never wake a sleeping baby" rule, but in a house like ours, it's hard to enforce. I think at one point I had to institute a "no carrying" rule. I think my older 3 can pretty much do what they like as they've had lots of experience, but I'll really have to watch the younger 3. I think it sounds like you've set really good boundaries with your kiddos.

Mikki--hope everything is going well with the picky steak eating in laws. I'm just glad that I have the freedom to home school in the US--not all countries are so tolerant. And I'm glad that we have the choice to educate our children as we see fit, whether it be public, private, or home schooling. I'm glad we have good teachers like Jen in the public school system. Freedom to choose what's best for your family is what it's all about to me.

Jen--I had a hard time figuring out the smileys too. At the very bottom of the page, if you scroll down, there is a little box that says "posting rules". Under that there is a line that says "smilies are on". Click on the word smilies. Another window will appear with the codes for each smiley and you just have to enter the code in the text as you type. Perhaps there is an easier way, but I have not figured it out. Charter school at home is one option, but I really love the planning and the personal tailoring of education to each child and his/her particular talents and abilities. I come from a family of teachers, so I think it's in my blood :D )

Susan--I'm glad you got some weight work in. Can you do triceps with no weight and work up that way? I just figure you start wherever you are at and gradually work up from there. A shower with the hose would suit me just fine right now :p.

Melanie--I don't know much about spotting, but I think I've heard that brown is not as much of concern as bright red blood. Could you call the ob on call just to ease your mind? I'm so glad you "cast your bread in the water" and that you took all your anxieties on the Lord--you are exactly where you should be. As far as the inspirational wisdom--when I'm giving it out, I realize just how much I need it as well. Hoo boy--I have NOT arrived. I'm a work in progress ;) .

Discharge

I've had some brown discharge on & off all day. Just about an hour ago I had a thicker more mucousy-like discharge. I called and left messages for the pharmacy owner & the store manager for tomorrow.

I think I need to have an ultrasound right away & make sure everything is okay. Please pray for us.

Good morning everyone,
its been days since i'm been on the forums so hopefully i can catch up with everyone.
melanie how are you feeling today? Sorry about your scare. Praying does help and sometimes its the only thing you can do. There is comfort in it, i hope everything works out for you - it will in time.

my trip was good. thursday the drive was long but not bad. friday was a rest day at my mother in laws. the kids were having a blast and had other people to pester :) Saturday we went ot a wedding which was a nice time (but a two hour drive). Sunday was AWFUL. Husband and I drove back but i only had four hours sleep and had to stop after two hours, wake up DH and make him drive. I felt like crap, sick and just so tired. I slept a lot.

We didnt get home until midnite and i had to get up at 530am. im at work right now but dragging..and i work 10.5 hours, so its only just begun..

Kate TELL ME ABOUT THE ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!!!! haha. i go in two weeks, better get some workout gear this weekend. I was checking out the pics int he RT forum . Looks like a blast. Cathe looks gorgeous! I'm so jealous of her figure all the time lol.

speaking of figures, i havent worked out since wedesday. we were on the raod a lot so i ate a lot of crap...i feel awful. i also noticed SWOLLEN FEET...will this go away?? I was in the car and aske dmy DH if my feet looked swollen he said yes and started laughing and called them chubby :( I dont like that very much. My mom said she never got swollen feet and thinks i should call the doctor. i think people get it and its normal tho. its just not very attractive.

im a mess..i just want to sleep for days...
