Getting started on my day...Not sure what workout will be done today...Beth, didn't you say it would be a cardio day if we follow along with the road trip? That is good because I was thinking of cardio and some stretching today anyway..

Well, I"m guessing cardio, Kathy. Honestly, now I can't remember what we did on Friday, but I thought it was step, and then step again Saturday morning. I'm guessing she'll be heavy on the cardio this time, showing people her new moves.

Good morning!!! Happy Friday!!! OSIF!!! Chris, I saw your note about the AC -- how frustrating!!!! Next time you'll know, I guess...... ug!!!

I did a brief stretch this morning -- it's a rest day -- may go for a walk with Dylan later, and do another stretch if I can work it in.

So, people! What are we doing for August?! I'm actually a little psyched to do FF's December rotation in a modified way. Since I just got pyramid back, I was thinking of doing the first week pyramid -- one day upper, one day lower, one day the combined premix. I know you just did pyramid, Chris. I have to figure out if I can keep mixing in a kbell, and I know I want to keep mixing in barre. I'd love to sort of be in sync with someone again though, if anyone is up for it.

Off for an airport run, taking Travis to programming (last day! sadly -- he so loves it) and then grocery run, cleaning the house. Chore day!! Have a good one.....
 
Hi Kathy, and all to follow today too!...

It's raining. Ick. Read today that we've had RECORD rainfall in June and July, the most ever. How cool to break a record... NOT! Well, at least the plants and grass are all green.

Kathy: What is on for you for next month? Are you just going to do whatever until Cathe comes out with her AUG rotation? ... The stretch sounds good for today!!

Beth: I'm game for the FF's DEC rotation , if you are! Though I'm a little "scared". Actually, I've been having better results with doing a little more cardio. I guess i can add on a little if I need it. But I really need to get back to 3 day split work in prep for STS again. Want to start Monday? Next week we're on 'vacation', and will probably head up to the beach for a few days, so I may end up missing a workout or 2, but I'll do my best! Is next week your away week too?

So the AC guy came this morning and come to find out, we've been without AC during the most humid week of the year because... THE CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS TRIPPED by "someone". Oh my. Kids, I tell ya. Apparently "someone" was playing in the circuit box. He ended up cleaning everything out anyways, and it cost us $140! ...

I'm off to attempt IM3! Haven't done it in a while, but all Hottie's talk of it makes me want to try!!
 
Hi ladies..

Just finished up with SJP premix cardio & Hi/Lo circuit and I added the ab and stretch sections from the workout...NOw shower time!!

Beth: That is how I spent my rest day yesterday with a nice walk with the kids and dog..

Chris: I am going to look at Cathe's rotation and will more than likely do that. I hope she posts it later today or early tomorrow. I like to know what I will do tomorrow!! Oh my!! We had something like that happen with our garage door. We were having problems with it closing. Turned out to be the sensors just needed adjustment. UGH!! That cost us around 50-60 bucks if I remember correctly. So, we had him do some maintenance things while here. That was a while ago. Hopefully we learned from that!! Glad you have AC again..
 
HOLY , I made it through IM3!!!

I didn't turn on the AC, because it's in the 70's out and raining, but the humidity is still up there, and I sweat my arse off!! DRIPPING!, like I'd just got out of the shower. Now THAT had to make up for the load of gum drops I ate yesterday! :)o) I kept saying, "just one more interval" or "on the next interval you can do it low impact", but then they'd come, and I couldn't help myself from jumping... LOL!. I think the interval I don't like the most is the first one, really!

Beth: Should we start FF's the week after next? Since you want to do pyramids, maybe I can do a week similiar to that too. And then start FF's the next Monday? Whatever you think. I might even do the Pyramids again with ya! I like em!

Kathy: Yes, it's pretty frustrating. And now that it's fixed, I'm like "Whatever, we don't really need it today. I'm used to the humidity." But it's good to know that we CAN have it if we want it! LOL!!

Hi! Back from airport & groceries, etc. Larry told me the internet was out again, but it's not! yipeeee.......

Chris, maybe you need to think of the money you saved not using the a/c. Ug, I know.... you'd have rather had the a/c -- just trying to see a bright side!! Good IM3ing!!! I haven't done that one in so long -- it seems so hard to me.

We don't know exactly when we're going on vacation..... waiting to get the van back and had some trouble with the rink so we need to make sure that's all fine. I'll do pyramids this week and we'll play it by ear on the vacations -- when will you be gone? Nice that you get another trip in!!

Ok, off to read some other threads while I have a connection......
 
Glad to hear Larry was wrong!!.... We are going by the weather forecast, but probably will leave Wednesday, stay overnight one night, stay at the beach all day Thursday, and come back Thursday evening. ... What's your plan this week? To do cardio on the days you're not doing the Pyramids?

Hey, Kathy, did you already go see Paul McCartney or is that tomorrow night? We want a review!!

Chris, did you see that Cathe posted the Aug. rotation? I'm surprised -- she's amazing -- so busy all the time...... anyway, it looks pretty interesting -- that last week with two plyo leg days!!! :eek: Let me know if you want to re-think. I'm pretty open. I think this week will be something like this:

Sat: pyramid lower
Sun: cc & barre
Mon: pyramid upper
Tues: imax 3 (you made me do it!)
Wed: pyramid total body premix
Thurs: kbell, if I can handle it -- not sure!! maybe a barre workout
Fri: stretch

As you can see, I'm not doing as much cardio these days!! I'm not sure I can do Cathe's weights and less cardio -- I think the reason I've been getting away with less cardio is that I've been doing circuits or total body weights that have a cardio factor.

Your beach getaway sounds fun! Nice to be flexible, and nice to have a quick getaway!!

Yes, the webcam is cool -- in theory -- I haven't viewed anything yet! Have to get to a different computer for that.....

Anyone else in on Cathe's Aug. rotation? If I do that, I'll have to sub for some of the older workouts she has -- I don't own them. And, I'm just dying to do pyramids again, so that's why I'm doing this week the way I am..... I may be crazy to do three days of it..... might sub in a circuit for the total body.

duh! I forgot about trying to sort of emulate the road trip. I was thinking it'd be fun to do step blast tomorrow -- thinking about all of them in that room on their steps twirling with Cathe! I wonder if I'd be crazy to do some short premix of step blast and then pub. I guess if I really want to emulate, I think I'd be better off then doing a boot camp. I'm nuts, right?!
 
I gotta get off this computer! I just saw on fb Cathe posted that they did step and an upper body blast, so step blast with pub might fit the bill! Of course, I'll be a day behind....... ok, ok, I must be driving you all nuts!
 
ok, just checked out the August rotation and it looks great. That is what I am doing next month...Starting it tomorrow..
 
Hi everyone!!

Today was HIS with Chest and Back. Tomorrow I'll do some cardio with 4DS biceps and triceps. Then lots of cleaning and getting ready for the party.

Mmmm, the August rotation looks good. I may start it on Monday with a few subs. I don't care for S&H too much. But, of course, I may change my mind by then! ;)

Beth, wow, you were right on with your workout plan to follow the road-trippers!

Chris, wow, great job with Imax3. You're all inspiring me to give it a try. Maybe tomorrow.

Kathy, have a great time at the concert!!

Cool! I like the idea of being in sync (somewhat) again. I'm going to mostly do her rotation, subbing in some pyramid the first week, and then subbing 4ds for the s&h week (since I don't have that series). Of course, if we do the road trip, it'll throw off everything, but I'll worry about that when it happens. I'm going to try to do step blast and pub tomorrow -- we'll see if I can do a Hottie double workout!
