Hi Chickadees! :) Is everyone sleeping in today? ;)

I was scheduled for LIS Circuit today, but wasn't "feeling" it. My arms are really sore, especially my biceps, so I decided to do the hardcore extreme workout with Imax3 and LowMax (thanks Chris!!). It was really fun. I skipped the KickMax drills at the end - too much.

Oh, another goldfish kicked the bucket last night. My poor son was very upset and got on the internet trying to find out why two of them have died already. He wants to take a sample of the water to the pet store tonight to be tested. Who knew goldfish were so complicated?? Now we are down to two.

Have a great day all!!

Joanne

Good morning Joanne! ... Gals!!

I got to my workout first before posting (plus a bunch of other 'chores'). I felt a little "guilty" yesterday, because part of the scheduled rotation was not only the B&G Floorwork & Abs, but also KICKMAX! THE WHOLE THING! I couldn't work it in timewise. No way. So I did the Premix from B&G instead (otherwise just the floorwork and coremax abs were 40 minutes instead of 60 premix). I kept trying to think of a way to work in KM, but couldn't.

So today, I decided to add in the cardio AND leg work, and went for a RUN outside! The weather broke from hot, muggy, humid to cool, breezy, dry and SUNNY! OMG, it is the perfect day out there today. So I ran around the local side streets while hubby stayed up after work to mow the lawn. Then I came back and did GS: Chest & Tri's. I haven't done GS in a bit, and oh my, i was WORKED. those are tough workouts, aren't they? I think I made some "big muscles" today!!! *grins* Plus I haven't done a run in a while, I'm thinking my legs will be talking to me tomorrow as well....

Hi-5's Joanne!!! Isn't that Hardcore Extreme workout fun? I had no idea!!! Yeah, KM drills at the end was pushing it though... LOL! I enjoyed going from LM to IMAX3 intervals. It kept it interesting! I'll be doing that again soon, and maybe will try to add in the KM part....Just because!

Sorry to hear about your goldfish!! Poor guy! (your son , AND the fish, I guess..LOL). That is one reason I didn't do 'fish' and went straight to cats. I think cats can live up to 20 years! LOL! Your son is cute though, wanting to figure it out and I bet he ends up with another fish before he leaves the pet store! LOL!!

Okay, off to feed my bunch of boys...

Chris

Hi Chris, Hi Joanne!!

Well, no workouts for the last two days for me.....I got up yesterday and my right hip and lower back were KILLING me. Could be our funky mattress, we are in dire need of a new one. Gonna try some stretches later.

Sorry about the goldfish Joanne!! Poor little guy! I have cats now too. A Maine Coon cat named Ginger and a stray that adopted "us" a few years back named Max. Josh had a few fish for a while until we caught Ginger batting them around with her paw. They all finally "bit the dust" and no wonder. They were probably tramatized!

Anyway, glad you girls are getting in your workouts. Maybe I'll rub down myself with Flexall. Won't I smell good?

Hey, Chris. Yea, I was thinking that KickMax was part of the B&G lower day. ;-) That would be quite a long workout to do all at once. Close to two hours, right? KickMax isn't a favorite of mine, so I think I'll sub a Turbo Jam and do the B&G lower. I'm going to skip over the LIC circuit, did you do that one? Great workout today! What leg work did you do? Sounds like a wonderful run!! GS are really tough. I'm debating whether to sub Amy's SloMo when I get to those. I do like them, but I'm craving some variety!

You know, on our internet searches on goldfish last night, I read that they can live 10-20 years! Well, not in our house, I guess! I hope they don't come home with another fish! We just buried Geraldo and now we need to bury Antwone. The last two are Jeeves and Chives, I think. I have no idea how they came up with these names! Supposedly you are supposed to have 10 gallons of water for each fish - well we had 4 fish in 10 gallons. My son thinks that's why they're dropping like flies. ;) Who knows, but I'm not getting a 20 gallon tank!

Anyhooo...enough fish talk - back to work!

Hi Deb...we must have been posting at the same time. Thanks for the fish condolences. ;) Take care of that lower back and hip. I've had similar soreness before and it's not fun!

Thanks hon! No it is not fun! Especially when you are 55 years old. But after next month I am saying that I am having the 16th anniversary of my 40th birthday. Sound good?

And you're welcome about the fish thingy!

Joanne... I gotcha on changing some of the strength training workouts up! it's good to change off of Cathe once in a while!! though I don't have many choices here to tell you the truth...

Oh , I didn't do an EXTRA lower body WO today, I thought the running, which I haven't done in months, would be "it"!

Deb.... sorry to hear about your back! It does sound like some good stretching and yoga could come in handy for you... Hope you feel better! And 55 is the new 35, didn't you know????

Have a nice evening, girls...

~Chris
