Hi Girls!
Is everyone sleeping in today??
I "did"...until 7am!! woohoo! I tell ya, kids really re-work our ideas of "sleeping in", don't they?
I'm glad today's workout was short and i switched it up with the double lower body. Saturdays I have the least movitation, because in the back of my mind is having to go to work overnights. So I did 4 Day Split: Back & Biceps. I added in a warm up (from Muscle Max) and then did the LIS stretch at the end. I lifted heavy, and have a feeling I'll "feel it" tomorrow.
Oddly enough, my legs aren't too bad today. If I stretch, they feel tight and they feel a little heavy, but no major DOMS. Isn't that crazy when that happens? I mean, my legs were SHAKING yesterday during some of those moves.
OMG, Joanne... your fireworks experience sounds like a story out of MY life! That's exactly what happens with my boys. My 4th of July memories were always my dad shooting off our own fireworks in the back yard (which used to scare the bejeesus out of me) and the kids all got sparklers (which I LOVED!). We never really went to any major display. My kids have missed out on fireworks for most years, so they don't really know what they're missing, and they didnt even ask to go this year! LOL!
Okay... off I go to clean, cook and get ready for my work weekend.!!!
