Tomorrow, I love ya' tomorrow

I had ADA training all day in town. I had to take my dad to physical therapy tonight. I will get up tomorrow and walk. I am cleared for takeoff, as it were. My therapist has given me the thumbs up.

Tricia I'm glad that you posted. I had wondered if you weren't going to post on our thread. I am glad that Milo is feeling okay. It's okay to have a walk break.

I am taking a rest day as I have a 5K race tomorrow morning. I'm looking forward to it as the weather looks to be picture perfect. It's a small one race and will knock off another Georgia county for me. My sister and I are trying to do one race in every county in Georgia. It's going to take a while. Georgia has about 150 counties.

Jane how was the 5K race?

Tricia hi!

I had to take a rest day because I had a migraine yesterday, and I was still recovering. I hope to walk or use my bike tomorrow.
 
Are used my little indoor bicycle for about 25 minutes this morning before breakfast and I plan to try Max Strom learn to breathe DVD this afternoon.
 
I have physical therapy today, so no workout. Unless, I feel ok afterwards and then I might go for a hike. Its only supposed to be in the 70s today.
 
Good Morning!

My 5K race went well on Saturday. I did not PR but I felt good for the entire race and I did my best 5K time so far this year. The weather was beautiful and the course was flat. It was a smaller race but had a really nice feel to it. On the way home stopped and picked up some peaches in a very small town.

Sunday I ran 7 miles.

Yesterday I did a total body weight workout. Today will be a rest day.

Alisha ~ It sounds like you are stay active. Did you get your hike in yesterday? It will be in the 80's today and sunny.

Jane congratulations on a good race time:)

I had physical therapy on Monday, and yesterday I was recovering from that. I went to the movies with my friends, we saw Capt. America. It was fun. I plan to go for a hike or to do something active today, and I also need to study for my exam in the fall. My dad and I don't have any work right now.

Tricia how is it going? I got an email from the yoga people. I haven't figured out how to login yet. I tried but the website said that I already had an identity and I don't know what it is.
 
I am going for a 4 mile run tonight. I'm try to hydrate for it now because it's warm and sunny today.

Here is tonight's workout. Last night's run was hot but the extra hydration really helped. Can't wait to get home and check on my blueberry crop. I didn't have time to check last night. They should be almost ripe. I had to get netting to put over the bushes so the birds wouldn't get to them.

Today is a rest day for me. Tomorrow morning my sisters and I are doing the Spartan 1500 workout (15 exercise - 100 reps of each - see below). We did this workout before in 2012 but I changed some of the exercises:

1. Jump Rope
2. Tire Flips
3. Deadlifts
4. Over the Shoulder Med Ball Toss
5. Swings
6. Rope Slams
7. Step ups (50 each side)
8. Jumping Jack – Step Up – Jumping Jack (on bench) - repeat
9. Side Kicks (50 each side)
10. Russian Twists (50 each side)
11. Lateral Jumps over rope
12. Supermans
13. Bicep Curls
14. Ball Slams
15. Crunches


Sunday is a rest day and then Monday we are doing the Memorial Day Murph (crossfit) workout: 1 mile run, 100 pull ups (jumping), 200 push ups, 300 squats, 1 mile run.


Alisha ~ Love your blueberry birds!! :) The blueberries are still there just not deep blue yet. It will probably take a couple of more days.

I did the Spartan 1500 on Saturday morning. It took me 1 hour and 22 minutes. It's wasn't that bad and it wasn't too hot. Sunday was a rest day.
This morning we did the Murph workout and then went to mom's to work in her yard for about 2 hours. Resting now.

Hi ladies!

Sorry about not checking in for a while. I've been in hermit mode again. Can't remember where I left off! Finished STS and have been having a hard time getting my butt going again! All is well otherwise!

Alisha - Have you gotten signed in to MyYogaPro yet? It looks amazing, but I have yet to get started. You could ask Linda Ranger. She might have an idea about that if you haven't been able to get logged in still.

Both of you have been doing great! I've been playing a good bit of golf of late. Stephen worked on the boat this weekend.

I'm really upset with myself! Stephen ordered me this great dragon earring that coils up and around the ear and I put it somewhere the day he gave it to me and I cannot find it for anything! I'm hoping I didn't set it down in the kitchen and he picked it up with some trash and threw it out! :mad:

I like the looks of Cathe's new workout series she's putting out for this year! It's heavy weights and HIIT. Going to save my pennies and get this one!

Changing directions with my workouts for the next 4 weeks. I'm going to alternate doing Gym Styles with either Pyramids or Slow & Heavy along with my running. Still trying to get my lazy butt up early in the mornings to do my cardio so I'm not tied up every evening after work.

Did I tell you I ordered tickets to a Sarah Brightman concert? I can't remember the last time I was here or online at all, so forgive me if I am repeating myself a bit!

Hope you both had a lovely Memorial Day Weekend! Ours was cloudy, rainy and very chilly on Saturday! Brrr! So tired of this crappy weather!

Tricia long time no post! Glad to see that you're okay. I have been able to sign into my Yoga Pro. The only thing about it is that she doesn't use music go figure. But that's okay I like it anyway. How much did you pay for my Yoga Pro? I only paid 30 bucks I hope that was right.

Congratulations on finishing S TS. That's not an easy thing to do. I can understand wanting to take a break after STS. Maybe just use my Yoga Pro for a week?


I am taking my brother to the bonus this morning. I hope that I get to work out when we come home in the afternoon. I plan to stop the co-op on the way home to pick up some fresh veggies and deliciousness.
 
Yesterday was a rest day. Tonight will be a 4 mile run unless it rains and then I will do something else. We are back in the summer pattern of pop up afternoon thunder storms.

Welcome back Tricia! Congratulation on finishing STS! I would choose between Pyramids and Gym Style. I never really liked Slow and Heavy that much.

I hope you find your earring. It will probably turn up where and when you least expect it.

Alisha - Yep. $30 for the whole thing. I think we got a good deal! I can always run my own music while I work on the yoga.

Jane - Hope you got a run in. Our weather has been atrocious! It has been chilly and rainy and today it never got above 55! Brrr! We went to a baseball game tonight and only stayed through the 6th inning. It was the Boston Red Sox minor league team that plays here. No one had scored. Boring! lol

I hope you're right about my earring!

Milo was sick last night. I stayed up with him all night running out and in for him to puke every hour or so. Finally got to sleep a little around 5:30 this morning. He didn't puke all day today and we fed him dinner. Now, we wait and see if he's okay tonight.

Fingers crossed! If I can get some sleep tonight, I'm going to get up early tomorrow to do cardio because I'm playing golf tomorrow night.

TGIF!

I managed to get my run in on Wednesday. It was thundering so we ran around the block then when it appeared that the storm was not coming our way, we continued on our regular route. We ended up doing over 4 miles.

Yesterday morning my foot ran into my sister (her calf) and I hurt the middle toe on my right foot. The part under the nail is purple and bruised so I did this workout, barefoot under the carport while it rained. Got to see a rainbow as well.

10 rounds - 10 reps
Swings
Squats
Sit ups
Front Kicks
Push ups

I will do something tonight but it might be upper body or something without requiring shoes, which sucks. It doesn't hurt when I'm barefoot or wearing socks but it's uncomfortable with a shoe on. I'm hoping it's better by Sunday morning because I want to get a long run in.

Tricia ~ I hope Milo is feeling better. Hopefully your weather will warm up. We are in the 80's/90's with the usual threat of storms in the afternoon.
