Evening! Hey, I made it 2 days in a row! lol

Jane - 90s! Wow! Yeah, I don't think I could run in that heat very far either!

I'm not stressing any more. Just trying to keep going as much as possible. Really gotta get the food under control again. I was doing great, then just pppfffttt! Poof! It's so easy to get lazy!

My PT about killed me yesterday! I see her again tomorrow morning. I just hope they can break through this thing and I can feel better again! Sigh. :( I'm so tired of being in pain!

Alisha - Hope you are still doing well!

PPAC canceled my Sarah Brightman concert that I was so looking forward to! Found out today. I'm so sad. I knew I was really looking forward to it, but I didn't realize just how much until I found out it was off. Apparently, she has a hairline fracture in her ankle and the doctor wants her off of it until September. Just my luck!

Karl Urban had better not cancel his appearance at the ST Convention Sunday! I'll curl up and cry if that happens!
 
Hi again!

I played golf tonight! It was beautiful weather!

Got more bad news today. Karl Urban canceled all of his June appearances. He will not be at the convention on Sunday. He was the main reason I was going. Needless to say, they will be reimbursing me for the ticket I bought for my photo op with him. I'm so devastated now! That's 2 highly anticipated events I won't get to experience. I'm still going to the convention, but it won't be as fun because there is no one else there that I really wanted to meet. It's now going to be just like attending a flea market or something. Sigh.

Hope you ladies had better days than I had!

Jane - Good luck on your race tomorrow! Yeah, doesn't sound like the weather is going to be much help!

No. The tickets to attend are non-refundable, but I will get my $75 back for the photo op since he won't be there.

My biggest downer is the Sarah Brightman concert. I can probably see Karl at another convention next year - it'll also be the 50th anniversary! It will be harder to get to see Sarah again. I'm not sure where she'll be next year or if she'll even be touring. They usually tour after an album release.

Wish me luck tomorrow! It's my ladies' scramble golf tournament at Swansea tomorrow afternoon! Just out to have fun, but I'd love to win a prize at the raffle!

I went to a Tapatalk Meetup group yesterday we talked about political correctness. It was a fun and lively discussion. The day before I smashed some toes with a chair. That hurt. I plan to exercise tomorrow. My toes do not appear to be broken. Just bruised.

Tricia I saw your post your picture with from's the Star Trek convention. I hope you are having fun.

Happy Monday Afternoon!

My race on Saturday morning was horrible. It was so hot and the hills just got to me in the end. My sister finished ahead of me, only the 3rd time she has done that in over 100 races. She has lost about 33 pounds in the last year and a half so the weight difference between the 2 of us is about 10 pounds or so. It's the closest weight-wise we've been in a long, long time. I did beat my running buddy for only the 2nd time this year but she wilts in the heat.

My sister talked me into doing a 5K race this coming weekend. It's part paved and part trail. I hope it's shady.

Yesterday was a 7 mile run. Tonight will be a total weight workout.

Tricia ~ I hope you had fun golfing yesterday. I also saw your picture. It looked like you were having a fun day.

Hi Alisha ~ I smashed my toe a couple of weeks ago. It still is a bit red but the bruising is gone. It doesn't hurt.
 
I took a rest day yesterday. Today will be a 3-4 mile run. It's hot but cloudy. I hope it stays that way although it may rain too. If it does, I will do something else.

Alisha ~ I hope you remain upright during your walk today.

Alisha - OWIE! I have a black toenail. I just consider it free pedicure! lol

Jane - Ugh. We have had some humid days up here. Go figure! Cool that your sister is doing so well and has lost so much weight! You have a contender now! Good luck in your 5K this weekend! Hope it's less humid for this one!

We did have a good time at the Star Trek convention. We sat in on a lot of talks by the actors. Costume contest was on Saturday, so there weren't many costumed people on Sunday.

I've only done one workout this week. Hoping to play golf tomorrow, but it looks like thunderstorms for most of the day. We shall see.

Tricia ~ I'm glad you had fun at the convention. I hope you get your golf game in. Everyday is a gamble on whether we get rain or not. Yesterday we didn't get any rain. Today...who knows?

I did liquid grooves today with Petra Kolber. I plan to work out again tomorrow. I was pleased with my mobility in my shoulders and my legs.

Jane what is a gorilla jump?

I am taking a rest day. I have a 5K race in the morning.

The workout yesterday was brutal. We did it for 45 seconds/10 seconds rest because it was so hot outside instead of 1 minute cycles.

For the Gorilla Jump, you jump laterally (each leg goes out) and then we you come in you bring your feet together. I have seen a number of different versions but that is how we did it.

We had a crazy work day on Friday. Very busy. Did not get to play golf all week. Playing tomorrow with Stephen at Jamestown. It's a beautiful course!

Only got one workout in this week, but plan on getting going again next week. I also need to get my food back under control. I was doing great for 3 months, then, as soon as I finished STS, went totally off the cliff!
