Hi girls! I know that you live in the TC's and thought I would check on you after last nights storms. How are your houses? Do you have electricity? Here we have electricity, but, I need new siding, new windows, possibly roof repair and a new garage door after the hail.

Hi, Kathy! Thanks for thinking of us!

Thankfully the area where I live (northwest 'burb on the Minneapolis side) didn't get much beyond some blown-down branches. It was weird - DH dropped me off at a club so I could do some aqua work at around 5:00 p.m. and it was clear as a bell; when I got out a bit before 7:00 there was this midnight-black squall line to the west that darn near blew us home. No power outages, no trees blown down, no drama. Other 'burbs weren't so lucky.

I'm sorry you got racked! That's a lot of damage! I saw some news bites that the hail was the size of golf balls and bigger. Hope the repairs aren't too much of a headache.

Hey fellow Minnesotans:

I was wondering about all of you, too. Here in SE Minnesota we didn't get much at all, but I was very surprised to here there were so many schools canceled and so much damage.

I hope you recover OK.
