Jess! P90X question....

Or anybody else who has done P90X or the Plyometrics?

I am just not a fan of Plyometrics!:-( Can anybody suggest a good substitute for it? I was thinking "maybe" Cathe's 4DS Boot Camp cardio? But I'd certainly value opinions on this!

I'm on my 5th week and loving it (can't wait for STS)! Last night was Chest, Shoulders and Triceps - I'm one hurtin' puppy this morning!}( And it's a good thing:7
 
I had a hard time loving it after the 2nd time too, LOL

I often subbed in Drill Max cardio premixes.

Sorry I'm late in responding!! Crazy week here for me!!

Anyway... I often sub in a run, kickbox, or other cardio for Plyo. I like it and think it's a good workout, but I just get bored w/ the same cardio. Cathe's 4DS bootcamp/kickbox cardio power would be a good one, I've also done the 4DS kickbox + Kickmax blasts (very Plyo-like), or an IMAX would be a good choice also! HTH!

It depends WHY you want to substitute PlyoX. I "graduated" in March and because of serious back problems (herniated disk L-5/S-1) I had to sub. Every time I tried the w/o (about 3 times) I paid the price the days following. So if it's because of the impact then you can sub with any low but high intensity w/o about 60 min in lenght. If it's just because you get bored or want some change then any of the other suggestions are great;-)
 
My oh my, we're on the same week, same day. My ribcage is so sore today from chest, triceps and shoulders. Felt really strong yesterday, maybe I over did it??? I'm taking the day off. Finding I'd rather work hard on the weekend and save one rest day for the weekday.
