Does anyone use the ripped series regularly? I have just started with Get ripped to the core, and I find it a great workout. I use it on my not so strenuous days, usually monday!! But I was wondering how effective this type of weight training is? I prefer heavy weights, I love Amy Bento's slo mo challenge, and Cathe's slow and heavy, but there is so much 'science' quoted behind the ripped series that makes me want it to work!! I know it's there to make you think that though. The burn I feel is definitely different in these workouts though, it's not the shaking feeling, but a red hot burning feeeling, which doesn't feel as healthy to me!!

Does anyone recommend Jari at all? How do the workouts compare to a Cathe workout? In terms of calories, toning, and fitness results? Some places swear by slow and heavy, some by Ripped. Does anyone have any thoughts on it?

I didn't actually do her workout becuase I couldnt get past her. She reminded me of Joan Rivers with muscle. Scary. And the other woman in the video reminded me of Mommy Dearest.

I never get things figured out to that extreme (I try to learn from others though!). I just like to mix things up from time to time. Not train in the exact same way all the time so I keep my body guessing. So I may do some JL type workouts a while and then back to slow/heavy stuff. I like the way both make me feel. I should try to pay more attention to see which works the best but I'd still want to mix things up. my non-expert opinion.
 
i used a rotation with RIPPEDSL,RIPPED1000,and RIPPED and CHISLED and got in great shape-strong legs,lean upper body,and inches in my hips decreased.light weight is need for the high reps. except for back and tricepts i dont go any higher than her. i strongly suggest getting all 3.i have heard that her new dvd is not worth it

Laura...how long did you do this rotation and did you add in other cardio? I have SL, 1000 and Ripped to the Core on order!
