Since I didn't get my double w/o in yesterday, today will be BodyMax. I am up early so I may try to get this done in a little bit with the hopes of maybe getting IMAX3 and that run done this evening. It is raining here this morning and suppose to rain all day but there may be a break. Again, not promising myself anything but it would be nice to finish up today.

Good Morning Jane, Hi everybody!!

Today is a rest day and I'm taking it! I SHOULD probably do IMAX3 , since yesterday I walked instead, but I'm not. I'm counting the walk as my last day of the rotation and enjoying resting today instead!

Jane, I have that book (YOU- The Owner's Manual) I bought it after the 2 doctors that wrote it were guests on Oprah. I've seen the show that you were talking about as well, and I like it. I haven't read the whole book yet but it's very informative and written so everyone can understand. NOT in medical terms.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday...working out or resting!

Hi everyone - just biding my time till next rotation. I'm following a muscle building & defining rotation posted by Fitnessfreak366. I started with S&H chest/Power Hr chest, followed by Coremax 1. My chest is fried! Tomorrow is kindof the same, but with back folloed by C&W step only premix. Have a great day. Phyllis

Phyllis you will love the building muscle and definition rotation. Last week was my third week and I couldn't complete it so I am starting monday with the third week then the fourth. Then I probly will do week 1&2. I have really enjoyed it and saw some definition come back into my arms.

Jane, I admire your determination to complete the rotation. You're doing an amazing job!

When I went out for my run yesterday my dog was giving me that 'look'. I felt really guilty about it so later I ended taking her for a long leisurely walk around the neighborhood. It was so beautiful out yesterday. It must have been in the 60's. This winter has been mild and I'm not complaining.

I'll probably do a couple of my new Christi Taylor DVDs over the next couple days. Can't wait to see what Cathe posts for February's rotation.
 
Today was a rest day but we are having another mild day (55 degrees), so DH & I went out to the golf course again and walked for an hour.

What's everybody doing tomorrow for a workout??
 
Good afternoon fellow rotationers. I did BodyMax this morning and am now comtemplating IMAX3 and that run. I feel good but not sure the old legs will hold up to all that step in one day. I'll play it smart and if I attempt it, I'll see how the legs and knees respond. If they start a major protest, I'll stop and try it tomorrow.

I'm so proud of all of us. This was one doozy of a rotation. I remember when the August rotation came out and I said, "no way in this world am I going to attempt that"!! Now I did this monster January rotation and feel I can do anything. I really want to see what Cathe comes up with for February. The only request I have is that they are one hour w/o's!!! I think we've all had enough of these marathon sessions for a while.

It has been so great working out and having all of you there for support and back up. It made it easier. On those particularly hard days, it was so comforting to see others posting and feeling the same way I was. I wasn't alone!!

I aggree! It's been great to log on here and see all the fellow support!

I am anxious to see what Cathe has in store for us in February. I also hope they are about an hour in length - I could use the extra 30 minutes of sleep!:D


Today was a rest day but I am going down to do some Pilates... and I see our dog giving me the look. It's been raining here ALL weekend and I really hate walking in the rain. I may just have to take her and deal with it!

I did it!! I did IMAX3 between 7:30 and 8:30 tonight and BodyMax this morning. I went into IMAX3 giving myself an out if I felt like I couldn't do it but I did it! I was starting to get tuckered out on Interval #8 but I pushed through. This is what the January rotation has done. I'd would have never even thought about doing BodyMax and IMAX3 in the same day before this month!

I still have that 30 minute run to do which I'll get in tomorrow. Heck, that will seem like a rest day to have only a 30 minute run to do!!

Oh and BTW, let me go on record as saying if I don't see IMAX3 again for six months, it won't hurt my feelings!!! :+ :) :) :)

All smiles here in NC, now I am in desperate need of a shower!!! WOOHOO!!
 
Good evening all. I'm still not very good about posting, and had a so-so week working out (missed 2 workouts due to early morning/late night meetings). I've started Cathe's Hard Core Strength building workout. I was not really getting the results I wanted from the January rotation. Probably because I was VERY hungry, and didn't eat very well. Also, I feel like I've lost a bit of muscle definition... as a result, I suspect I'm not burning as many calories. I ended up gaining about 2.5 pounds (phooey) over the last 4 weeks. Of course, I'm bloated this week, so I'm contributing some of the weight gain to water weight.

Yesterday was Kickmax, today was a 30 minute run with a Coremax workout, and tomorrow is Gym Style Chest & Triceps. If I get up early enough, I'll add in a 20 minute run. We'll see...

Hoping Cathe posts a muscle building workout for February!
