I've got the Graveling Blues

Living on a gravel road and because of it and the gloom and doom of winter never going away, I just discovered more gravel left by my DH. He pulled our truck out of the garage and has left a load of gravel behind in trails of two. Gravel in the inside of our cars and VDOT dumped gravel along the edges of our yard which is quite alot.
Someone is going to have a workout ready for them, but I will be doing Cathe.
Anyone else dealing with mudd and gravel everywhere? YUK!

Blech. I feel your pain. My previous house had a gravel driveway and I'm STILL cleaning it out of my car. My new house has a paved driveway, thank goodness. It's also worlds easier to shovel.

It hasn't got warm enough here for there to be mud yet. We're still dealing with tons of snow and more to come, apparently.

Our road just got paved last year! Thank goodness. I was so sick of dust and/or mud!

Only downfall is that we can't ride the 4 wheelers on pavement. So no more hopping on the four wheeler and riding down the road to my inlaws house. Now we have to ride thru the pastures, which means opening and closing alot of gates.

That is all well worth the trouble. No more mud and rocks flying every where!

:D

Girl, i hear ya!!!!!! our driveway is shale and it is a PITA!!!! we just got a new load dumped and for some reason the driver left a big heap of it right at the end of the driveway and my car got stuck trying to get over the mound. lovelyx( i had to get out in the dark(cause there are non street lights in the boonies) and push it. my car is always covered in dust. i hate it!!!

jes:-(

Renee- I could go for some four wheelin...sounds like a ton of fun!

Jes- Speaking of cars, DH is thinking of getting one of those new ford mustangs in baby blue. What to do??? I don't really want a brand new monthly car payment. YUK! Another dusty car in the driveway here too!!!
