<--tells Robin <-- spent about 5 hours on the internet last night, reserved a cruise, but probably won't go forward with it
<--reserved a cruise to the western carribbean in early August, and then learned that's the rainy season x(
<--says the "dry" season starts in late November and the prices are lower (why??), but <-- doesn't want to wait that long
<--thought it would be interesting to stop in Mexico and Belize on the same trip
<--is wondering if she should go ahead and book the cruise for November and then plan something closer to home during the summer, like maybe a stay at a Poconos resort or something?
<--finally gave up at 11:30 pm and went to sleep
<--says DT wants to spend a week in Paris in September instead
<--thinks it may not make sense to go to France and see only one city, but does not like being uprooted every other day
<--says we have more than enough miles to fly to and from Paris for free though
<--will spend tonight researching the Paris possibilities
<--apologizes profusely for the self-indulgence

<--- & DH drove 3 hours on Saturday, attended 2 meetings, then drove 1 1/2 hours, had dinner with friends, then drove another 1 1/2 hours & didn't get home until 1:30 a.m.! Then, got up on Sunday, baked more Amish Cinnamon Bread, prepared filets & salad for M-Day lunch, drove 1 hour to MIL's, ate & spent some time with her & FIL, drove 1 hour back, stopped at the grocery store & post office, went home & gave the dog a much-needed bath, took the recycles off, had supper, & finally prepared for the coming week
