My daughter has osteofibrous Dysplasia in her leg. ( tumors ) any way she is supposed to go back the the childrens hospital Tuesday and of course I am filled with anxiety because I worry that the tumors might become more active and spread to more healthy bone. any way the doctor wants to try and IV medication done through the oncology department. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone that had to do a treatment similar to that and the side effects they sufferd?

I don't have an answer to your question but as a mom to a mom I'll be praying for your lil one that she doesn't get any negative side effects and for her overall health ...hugs to you

That sound so scary. You may want to ask one of the nurses or your doctor for support group info, if there's one available. My prayers are with you and your family. Lots and lots of hugs to you and your daughter. <<hugs>>
